Claims (31)
- 슬래그를 포함하거나 슬래그 층을 가지는 용융조(24)를 포함하는 반응기(10) 내에서 철-함유 원재료를 제련하는 금속철 및 슬래그의 제조방법에 있어서,(a) 하나이상의 상부 침지식 랜스(32)로 연료/환원제 및 산소-함유 가스를 슬래그에 분사하여 가열 및 환원 조건이 상기 조(24)의 하나이상의 환원 부위에 발생하는 단계;(b) 상기 원재료를 석탄으로 이루어지는 추가의 환원제 및 융제와 함께 하나 이상의 환원 부위(40) 또는 그 부근에서 반응기(10)에 공급하며, 상기 원재료가 제련환원되어, CO 및 H2로 이루어지는 연소가스를 생성하는 단계;(c) 상기 하나 이상의 랜스(32)로 요구되는 충분한 환원조건이 달성되도록, 산소-함유 가스와 연료/환원제의 분사속도를 제어하는 단계;(d) 제련으로 생성된 연소가스를 조(24) 위의 반응기(10)에서 후-연소하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지며, 상기 제어 단계 (c)에서는 하나 이상의 랜스(32)로 분사된 연료/환원제의 연소도가 40 중량% 내지 50 중량%가 되기에 충분한, 산소함량이 40 용적% 내지 100 용적%인 산소-함유 가스를 분사하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상부 침지식 분사로 강한 환원 조건을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 분사된 상기 연료/환원제가 미분말 상태의 석탄, 연료유, 천연가스, LPG 및 이들의 혼합물을 포함하여 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 연료가 운반 가스에 의해 분사된 미분말 상태의 석탄인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 운반가스가 연료 연소에 필요한 산소를 일부 포함하고 있는 가스인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 운반가스가 공기와 불활성 가스의 혼합물, 산소-보강 공기, 산소 또는 불활성 가스를 포함하여 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 운반 가스가 공기를 포함한 불활성 가스 또는 불활성 가스이고, 이 불활성 가스는 질소임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 연소에 요구되는 산소의 일부가, 연료/환원제의 유동경로와 다른 랜스(32)를 통해 별도로 유동 분사되고, 이렇게 별도로 유동된 매체가 랜스(32)의 하단, 랜스(32)의 하단에 인접한 슬래그 조(24) 내 또는 이의 두 부분 모두에서 혼합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기한 별도 유동에 의해 분사되는 산소의 일부가 산소 단독, 공기, 산소-보강공기를 포함하여 이루어진 군에서 선택되고, 불활성 가스와 임의로 혼합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 추가의 석탄 환원제가 괴상 석탄임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 괴상 석탄이 철-함유 원재료와 함께 조(24)에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 괴상 석탄이 원재료 기준으로 20 내지 60중량%의 비율로 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 석회 또는 실리카를 포함하여 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 융제에 원재료가 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기한 후-연소가 CO2, H2O, H2또는 CO를 함유하는 가스를 발생시키며, 상기한 후-연소는 (CO + H2+ CO2+ H2)에 대한 (CO2+ H2O)의 계산된 비율이 후-연소 결과로 반응기(10) 내에 존재하는 가스에 대하여 0.2이상인 산화도가 달성되도록 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 산화도가 0.95이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기한 산화도가 조(24)의 재산화가 일어나지 않게 하면서, 조 용융물에 최대의 열 전달을 이룩할 수 있도록 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제련을 통하여 상기 연소가스에 비말동반되는 탄소분진이 생성되며, 상기 탄소분진이 상기 후-연소 단계에서 연소되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
