Abstract

본 발명은 2중 하우징과 하나 이상의 극을 갖고, 공통 모울드 케이스에 수용된 표준 단극차단 유닛(10)들로 이루어지는 저압 차단기열에 관한 것이며, 각 단극 유닛은 2개의 대향하는 평행 대측면과 2개의 대향하는 평행 소측면을 갖는 평행육면체 절연박스를 구비하며 그 절연박스는, 상기 대측면에 수직인 축에 피봇 가능하게 장착되어 고정 콘택트와 상호작용하며 관련 고정 콘택트에 연결된 단자를 갖는 소측면에 근접하여 있는 가동 콘택트를 담고 있으며, 여러개의 단극 유닛들이 다극 차단기의 케이스에 나란하게 배치된다.

특히 제 4, 5 및 7도를 참조하면, 스페이서(32)는, 커버(42)에 의해 확고하게 덮혀지고 피스톤(44)이 슬라이드하는 외장(sheath)(43)으로서 부분적으로 형상된 캐비티(41)를 구비함을 알 수 있다. 피스톤(44)은 유닛(10)들의 상부로 부터 돌출하며 기구(25)의 래치(46)와 상호작용하는 레버(45)를 갖는다. 테어드(tared) 스프링(47)은 레버(45)를 제 7도에 나타낸 해체 위치로 기울게 한다. 캐비티(41) 내 압력이 설정 문턱치를 초과할 때, 피스톤(44)은 스프링(47)력에 반하여 레버(45)를 밀어 래치(46)를 릴리즈하여 차단기의 개방을 일으키는 위치로 한다.
캐비티(41)는 각각 캐비티(41)와 박스(11)의 측벽에 배치된 한쌍의 오리피스(48, 49)를 통하여 근접한 유닛(10)들의 박스(11)들과 연통한다. 과압 액튜에이터(44, 45)를 갖춘 스페이서(32)에 근접한 단극 유닛(10)들의 하나에 생성된 과압은 오리피스(48, 49)를 통하여 캐비티(41)에 전달되어 레버(45)를 작동시킨다. 오리피스(48, 49)에는 캐비티(41)로 부터 단극 유닛(10) 들로의 가스의 역류를 방지하는 체크 밸브(50; check valve)가 구비된다.
각 쌍의 단극 유닛(10)들은 2개의 유닛(10)들 사이에 끼워지고 과압 액튜에이터(44, 45)를 갖는 스페이서(32)와 관련시킬 수 있지만 제 8도 및 제 11도에 나타낸 바람직한 실시예에 따르면, 액튜에이터(44, 45)는 모든 차단기 유닛(10)들에 공통이다. 캐비티(41)는 오리피스(48, 49)를 통하여 근접 유닛(10)들과 연통하고 덕트(51)를 통하여 떨어진 단극 유닛 혹은 유닛들과 연통한다. 이 목적으로, 과압 액튜에이터가 구비되지 않은 스페이서(38)들은, 다른 스페이서(32)들의 캐비티(41)에 유사한, 오리피스(48, 49)를 통하여 근접한 단극 유닛(10)들과 연통하여 이들 유닛(10)들에 생성된 과압을 수집하는 챔버(chamber)(52)를 갖는다. 다른 스페이서(38)들의 챔버(52)들은 삽입된 유닛(10)들의 박스(11)들의 관형 집합체 리벳(rivet)에 의해 형성된 덕트(51)에 의해 캐비티(41)에 연결된다. 덕트(51)는 캐비티(41)로 끼워 넣어진 오리피스(53)에 의해 연장된다. 연결은 물론 다른 방식으로 행해질 수 있고 밸브(50)들은 덕트(51)로 부터 유닛(10)들로의 가스의 흐름을 방지한다.
단극 유닛들의 하나에 발생하는 과압은 캐비티(41)에 전달되어 피스톤(44)상에 작용하여 이 과압이 설정 문턱치를 초과할 때 차단을 일으킨다. 이 액튜에이터의 상세한 작동은 상기 언급한 특허에 설명되어 있다.
2 부분의 케이스(31)는 박스(11)의 그것에 보충적인 절연을 제공하고, 그 집합체는 조립이 쉬운 모듈식 시스템을 구성한다.
차단기 스위치 유닛(도시되지 않음)은 당분야의 전문가에게 잘 알려진 방법으로 케이스(31)에 일체화될 수 있거나 이 케이스(31)의 외측에 인접될 수 있다. 특히 제어 혹은 시스널링용 보조 유닛들도 케이스(31)에 위치될 수 있거나 후자와 합체될 수 있다. 전체 차단기 열은 표준 단극 유닛(10)으로 부터 단극 차단기의 그것에 해당하는 모듈성을 갖도록 할 수 있다. 콘택트 브릿지의 사용은 이중차단(double breaking)을 가능하게 하고 전체 치수가 다소 대칭적인 배치로 감소될 수 있게 한다.
본 발명은 물론 특징적으로 설명된 실시예에 한정되지 않고 대안적인 실시예, 특히 스페이서판(32)이 단순한 쐐기에 의해 대치된 것이나 콘택트 브릿지의 제어가 다른 방법으로 이루어지는 것을 커버하는 것이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 두 개의 대향하는 평행 대측면과 두 개의 대향하는 평행 소측면을 갖는 평행육면체 절연박스와, 각각의 대향하는 평행 소측면에 위치된 두 개의 단자와, 1 이상의 상기 단자에 전기적으로 연결되는 1 이상의 고정 콘택트와, 상기 고정 콘택트와 접촉하는 제 1 위치와 상기 고정 콘택트로부터 분리되는 제 2 위치 사이에서 가동하는 가동 콘택트를 각각 포함하는 복수의 동일한 단극 차단 유닛;
    상기 단극 차단 유닛을 수용하는 모울드 케이스; 및
    임의의 상기 단극 차단 유닛에 사용가는하며 모두에 공통으로 상기 다극 차단기와 관련되어 모든 단극 차단 유닛을 동시에 가동시키기 위한 단일 가동 기구를 포함하며,
    상기 모울드 케이스는 두 개의 대향하는 동일한 두께의 평행 측면을 가지며, 인접한 단극 차단 유닛은 상기 측벽 두께의 2배 간격으로 그리고 일정한 피치(pitch)로 이격되도록 서로에 대하여 그리고 상기 측벽과 평행하여 연속적으로 배치되는 모듈식 저압 다극 차단기.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 모울드 케이스의 폭은 35㎜의 배수이고 상기 일정한 피치는 35㎜인 다극 차단기.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 인접한 단극 차단 유닛은 스페이서에 의해 서로 이격되는 다극 차단기.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서는 1 이상의 제어 레버의 통로용 홈 및 그 홈을 통과하는 배선을 갖는 판을 포함하는 다극 차단기.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 위치핀을 추가로 포함하며, 상기 절연박스의 상기 2개의 대향하는 평행 대측면은 그곳을 통과하여 연장하는 구멍을 포함하며, 상기 위치핀은 상기 구멍을 통과하여 연장하여 인접 절연 박스를 서로에 대하여 위치시키는 다극 차단기.
  6. 제 3 항에 있어서, 1 이상의 스페이서는 캐비티를 포함하고, 인접 절연박스는 상기 캐비티와 가스 연통하는 오리피스를 포함하며, 상기 1 이상의 스페이서는 상기 캐비티내의 압력이 압력 문턱치를 초과할 때 상기 차단기를 차단하는 액튜에이터 수단을 추가로 포함하는 다극 차단기.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 액튜에이터는 피스톤 및 실린더를 포함하며, 상기 피스톤이 그것 내부의 상기 압력에 대응하여 슬라이드하도록 상기 피스톤은 상기 실린더에 슬라이딩 가능하게 탑재되는 다극 차단기.
  8. 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 절연 박스를 연결하는 관형 집합체에 의해 형성된 덕트를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 덕트는 상기 1 이상의 스페이서의 상기 캐비티와 가스 연통하는 다극 차단기.
  9. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 가동기구는 2개의 대향하는 사이드 플랜지에 고정된 토글을 포함하며, 상기 가동기구는 단극 차단 유닛상에 배치되고 금속 플랜지는 단극 차단 유닛의 폭과 동일한 간격으로 서로 이격되는 다극 차단기.
  10. 제 1 항에 있어서, 단극 차단 유닛의 가동 콘택트는 상기 가동 콘택트가 상기 제 1 위치와 제 2 위치 사이에서 동시에 회전될 수 있도록 기계적으로 서로 결합되는 다극 차단기.
