Claims (6)
- 하우징;상기 하우징의 일측에 단면 연마된 상태로 고정되어 있는 플라스틱 광섬유;상기 하우징의 내부에 상기 단면 연마된 플라스틱 광섬유와 접하도록 설치되어 있으며 굴절률 정합 유체가 들어 있는 캡슐; 및상기 하우징의 타측에 형성되어 결합할 플라스틱 광섬유를 상기 하우징 내의 캡슐로 유도하는 가이드부;로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 가이드부는 밀어 넣어진 광섬유가 쉽게 빠지지 않도록 돌기가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 돌기는 광섬유를 밀어 넣는 방향에 대해 복수개의 빗살형 돌기형태로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 정합 유체는 비반응성 재질로서 굴절률이 광섬유의 코어와 같거나 유사한 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 정합 유체는 글리세린, 브로모 벤젠, 브로모 나프탈렌 중 어느 하나로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 캡슐은 외력에 의해 쉽게 파손되는 폴리에틸렌 또는 폴리프로필렌 등의 재질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 커넥터.
