Description

무선 파라메트릭 데이타 및 규제 데이타에 대한 근거리 및 원거리 액세스 및 그 방법{LOCAL AND REMOTE ACCESS TO RADIO PARAMETRIC AND REGULATORY DATA AND METHODS THEREFOR}
본 발명은 일반적으로는 무선 장치, 보다 구체적으로는 근거리 및 원거리 액세스를 위해 무선 장치에 저장된 무선 장치에 특정한 무선 장치 정보, 예컨대 규제 인증 정보(regulatory certification information)를 갖는 무선 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.

다른 실시예에서, 무선 장치로부터 원거리에 위치한 무선 관리 서버(50)는 네트워크를 통하여 무선 장치와 통신하고, 무선 장치(10)에 저장된 장치 관리 클라이언트(18)는 무선 장치 정보 및/또는 무선 장치 정보나 무선 장치에 저장된 것보다 더욱 구체적인 정보를 갖는 서버를 식별하는 무선 장치 정보 서버 주소에, 이하에 기술하는 바와 같이, 액세스하는 것을 가능하게 한다.
본 발명 및 그의 최적의 모드로 지금 고려되고 있는 것은 발명자가 그 권리를 갖고 본 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 본 발명을 실시하고 사용할 수 있도록 하는 방식으로 기술되었지만, 본 명세서에 개시된 예시적인 실시예들의 많은 균등물이 존재하고 본 발명의 범위 및 사상으로부터 벗어나지 않는 범주에서, 예시적인 실시예들에 의해 한정되지 않고, 첨부된 청구항들에 의해서 한정되는, 무수한 변경과 변형이 만들어질 수 있다는 것을 이해하고 인식해야 할 것이다.

Claims (21)

  1. 소프트웨어 기반 무선(software defined radio; SDR) 장치에 있어서,
    프로세서;
    상기 프로세서에 결합된 메모리;
    상기 프로세서에 결합된 소프트웨어 프로그램가능한 부분을 포함하고, 상기 소프트웨어 프로그램가능한 부분은 제1 무선 장치 구성 및 제2 무선 장치 구성을 가지고,
    상기 무선 장치가 상기 제1 무선 장치 구성에 있을 때 제1 무선 장치 구성 규제 정보(first radio device configuration regulatory information)가 상기 메모리에 저장되고,
    상기 무선 장치가 상기 제2 무선 장치 구성에 있을 때 제2 무선 장치 구성 규제 정보가 상기 메모리에 저장되는 소프트웨어 기반 무선 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    무선 장치 구성 정보 서버 주소가 상기 메모리에 더 저장된 소프트웨어 기반 무선 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 무선 장치 구성 정보 서버 주소는 URL(Universal Resource Locator) 링크인 소프트웨어 기반 무선 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 및 제2 무선 장치 구성 규제 정보는 상기 제1 및 제2 무선 장치 구성에 대응하는 제1 및 제2 FCC(Federal Communications Commission) 식별 번호를 포함하는 소프트웨어 기반 무선 장치.
  5. 무선 장치에 있어서,
    프로세서;
    상기 프로세서에 결합된 메모리 - 상기 무선 장치에 특정한 무선 장치 정부 규제 정보는 상기 무선 장치의 상기 메모리에 저장됨 - ; 및
    상기 무선 장치 정부 규제 정보를 디스플레이하기 위한, 상기 프로세서에 결합된 디스플레이
    를 포함하고,
    무선 장치 정보 서버 URL 주소는 상기 메모리에 저장되는 무선 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 무선 장치 정부 규제 정보는 상기 무선 장치의 FCC 식별 번호를 포함하는 무선 장치.
  7. 무선 장치에 있어서,
    프로세서; 및
    상기 프로세서에 결합된 메모리
    를 포함하고,
    상기 무선 장치에 특정한 무선 장치 상세 정보(radio device specification information)는 상기 무선 장치의 상기 메모리에 저장되는 무선 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 무선 장치 상세 정보는 무선 장치 상세 요약 정보(radio device specification summary information)를 포함하는 무선 장치.
  9. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 프로세서에 결합된 디스플레이를 포함하고, 상기 무선 장치 상세 정보는 FCC 식별 번호를 포함하고, 상기 디스플레이는 상기 무선 장치 상세 정보를 디스플레이하는 무선 장치.
  10. 원격 위치로부터 무선 장치에 관한 무선 장치 정보를 얻기 위한 방법으로서,
    상기 원격 위치로부터 상기 무선 장치와 통신하는 단계;
    상기 원격 위치로부터 상기 무선 장치에 저장된 무선 장치 정보 서버 주소에 액세스하는 단계;
    상기 무선 장치 정보 서버 주소에 의해 식별된 무선 장치 정보 서버에 액세스함으로써 상기 무선 장치 정보 서버 주소가 액세스된 상기 무선 장치에 특정한 무선 장치 정보에 액세스하는 단계
    를 포함하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
