Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 금속 공급 물질로부터 용융철이나 용선을 생산하기 위한 직접 제련 공정에 있어서,(a) 야금 용기에서 금속층과 용재층을 가진 쇳물을 형성하는 과정;(b) 다수개의 랜스와 송풍구를 통해 상기 금속층으로 금속 공급 물질과 고체상태의 탄소함유 물질을 주입하는 과정;(c) 상기 금속층 안에서 금속 공급 물질을 금속으로 용융하는 과정;(d) 전이 영역을 형성하기 위해 상기 용융 금속을 비산, 용적 및 유동 형태로 쇳물의 공칭 정지 표면 위의 공간으로 투입하는 과정;(e) 상기 야금 용기로부터 용융 금속을 연속적으로 탭핑하는 과정; 및(f) 상기 야금 용기로부터 용재를 주기적으로 탭핑하는 과정을 포함하며, 상기 야금 용기 내의 압력을 조절함으로써 상기 야금 용기 내의 용융 금속의 레벨이 상기 탭핑 주기의 허용높이 이내가 되도록 제어함을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 용융 금속의 레벨을 제어하는 과정은,(i) 용재 탭이 이루어지는 동안 또는 상기 용재 탭이 완료된 후, 상기 야금 용기로부터 용재를 탭핑함으로 인해 야기되는 상기 용융 금속의 레벨증가를 보상하기 위하여 미리 설정된 P1까지 상기 야금 용기 내의 압력을 증가시키는 단계와;(ii) 상기 야금 용기 내의 압력이 P1에 도달하면, 금속 높이에 잔류 용재가 증가하게 되는 현상을 보상하기 위하여 다음 용재 탭 과정시의 낮은 압력인 P2로 압력을 조정하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 단계(i)의 압력 P1은 5 kPa 임을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서,상기 단계(i)는 용재 탭이 이루어지는 동안과 상기 용재 탭이 완료된 후 5분 동안 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 단계(i)는 상기 용재 탭 과정에만 야금 용기 내의 압력을 증가시킴을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 단계(i)는 압력을 연속적으로 증가시킴을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 단계(i)는 압력을 단계적으로 증가시킴을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 야금 용기 내의 압력조절은 상기 야금 용기 내의 폐가스의 방출량을 제어함으로써 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.

- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 단계(c)는 상기 금속 공급 물질을 금속층 내의 용융 금속으로 제련하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,쇳물의 정지 표면 위 공간으로 비산, 용적 및 유동물의 형태로 금속 공급 물질을 사출하여 전이 영역을 형성하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 20항에 있어서,한 개 이상의 랜스/송풍구를 통하여 산소함유 가스를 주입하여 쇳물에서 배출되는 반응 기체를 후-연소시켜서 전이 영역에서 상승하였다가 하강하는 용융물의 비산, 용적 및 유동물이 쇳물로 열전달이 용이해지고, 전이 영역이 접하고 있는 측벽을 통한 열손실을 최소화하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
- 제 21항에 있어서,상기 산소함유 가스는 공기 혹은 산소가 풍부한 공기임을 특징으로 하는 직접 제련 공정의 압력 제어 방법.
