Claims (2)
- 한쪽기판에 두 층의 투명 전극 구조를 패턴하는 FFS모드에 있어서,투명 유리 기판 또는 플라스틱 기판을 사용하는 하부기판과;상기 하부기판 상부에 위치한 첫 번째 층의 투명전극을 플레인 형태로 패턴한 공통전극과;절연층을 사이에 두고 상기 공통전극 위에 두 번째 투명전극이 화소 수평 방향의 중앙을 중심으로 다른 각과 방향을 갖도록 패턴 되어 있는 화소 전극과;상기 화소 전극의 기울임 각은 한쪽 도메인은 게이트 버스라인을 기준으로 1°이상 44°이하가 되게 하는 것과;다른 한쪽 도메인의 화소 전극의 기울임 각이 -2°이상 -45°이하가 되게 하는 것과;상기 두 도메인의 화소전극의 기울임 각은 대칭적이지 않고 절대 값이 서로 다르게 패턴되어 있는 것과:투명 유리 기판 또는 플라스틱 기판을 사용하는 상부기판과;양 기판에 수평 액정 배향막을 코팅한 후 서로 반대방향 또는 같은 방향으로 러빙을 한 것과;상기 상, 하판에 셀갭이 2~6㎛ 사이가 되도록 하는 것과;액정의 위상지연값은 0.2~0.5㎛ 사이의 값을 갖도록 하는 것과;화소 전극의 폭이 2~10㎛ 사이가 되도록 하고 화소 전극 사이의 거리가 3~15㎛ 사이가 되도록 하는 것과;투명 전극의 두께는 2000Å 이하, 전극 사이의 절연막은 1000Å 이상이 되는 값을 갖게 하고;상, 하판에 투과축이 교차된 편광판을 사용하며 두 축 중의 하나는 액정의 광축과 일치하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정 표시 소자
- 제 1항에 있어서,한쪽 도메인의 화소 전극의 기울임 각이 게이트 버스라인을 기준으로 1°이상 44°이하인 것과 2°이상 45°이하인 값이 번갈아 가며 패턴된 것과나머지 한쪽 도메인의 화소전극 기울임 각은 게이트 버스라인을 가쥰으로-2°이상 -45°이하인 것과 -1°이상 -44°이하인 값이 번갈아 가며 패턴 되어 있어 화소 전극의 폭은 위치마다 그 크기가 다르지만 화소 전극 간 거리는 같게 형성되어 있는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정 표시 소자
