Description
Claims (10)
- 데이터선들로 데이터신호를 공급하기 위한 데이터 구동부와;주사선들로 주사신호를 공급하기 위한 주사 구동부와;상기 데이터선들 및 주사선들의 교차부에 위치되며, 제 1전원으로부터 유기 발광 다이오드를 경유하여 제 2전원으로 전류를 공급하면서 빛을 생성하는 화소들과;상기 제 1전원을 생성하기 위한 전원부와;상기 제 1전원을 분압하여 제 1기준전원을 생성하기 위한 제 1전압 분배부와;외부로부터 공급되는 외부전원을 분압하여 제 2기준전원을 생성하기 위한 제 2전압 분배부와;상기 제 1기준전원 및 제 2기준전원 중 어느 하나의 전원을 상기 데이터 구동부로 전달하기 위한 스위칭부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 스위칭부는상기 데이터 구동부와 상기 제 1전압 분배부 사이에 위치되는 제 1스위칭소자와,상기 데이터 구동부와 상기 제 2전압 분배부 사이에 위치되는 제 2스위칭소자를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 2스위칭소자는 상기 유기전계발광 표시장치로 전원이 입력되는 초기간 동안 턴-온되고, 상기 제 1스위칭소자는 상기 화소들에서 빛이 생성되는 기간 동안 턴-온되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 2스위칭소자는 상기 유기전계발광 표시장치로 전원이 차단될 때 턴-온되고, 상기 제 1스위칭소자는 상기 유기전계발광 표시장치로 전원이 차단될 때 턴-오프되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 1스위칭소자 및 제 2스위칭소자의 턴-온 및 턴-오프를 제어하기 위한 제어부를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 데이터 구동부는 상기 제 1기준전원 및 제 2기준전원 중 어느 하나의 전압을 공급받고, 공급받은 전압을 분압하여 다수의 감마전압을 생성하는 것을 특 징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1기준전원 및 제 2기준전원은 동일한 전압값으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치.
- 제 1전원으로부터 유기 발광 다이오드를 경유하여 제 2전원으로 전류를 공급하면서 영상을 표시하는 화소들을 포함하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서;상기 유기전계발광 표시장치로 전원이 입력되는 초기기간 동안 외부로부터 공급되는 외부전원을 분압하여 생성되는 제 2기준전원을 데이터 구동부로 전달하는 단계와;상기 초기기간을 제외한 상기 화소들에서 영상이 표시되는 기간 동안 제 1전원을 분압하여 생성되는 제 1기준전원을 데이터 구동부로 전달하는 단계와;상기 데이터 구동부에서 상기 제 1기준전원을 이용하여 다수의 감마전압을 생성하고, 각각의 채널마다 상기 감마전압들 중 어느 하나의 감마전압을 데이터신호로 선택하여 상기 화소들로 공급하는 단계와;상기 화소들에서 상기 데이터신호에 대응하는 영상이 표시되는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 유기전계발광 표시장치로 전원이 차단될 때 상기 제 2기준전원을 상기 데이터 구동부로 전달하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 제 1기준전원 및 제 2기준전원을 동일한 전압값으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
