Abstract
Description
도 2는 도 1에 따른 편광필름 제조장치를 이용하여 편광 필름을 제조하는 방법을 나타내는 평면 모식도이다;
도 3는 본 발명의 다른 하나의 실시예에 따른 편광 필름을 제조하는 방법을 나타내는 평면 모식도이다. 및;
도 4는 본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따른 편광 필름을 제조하는 방법을 나타내는 평면 모식도이다.
Claims (15)
- (a) 편광자로서 작용하는 성분을 포함하는 코팅액을 밀폐된 챔버(chamber) 내로 분사하여 코팅액 분무 조건을 형성하는 과정;
(b) 상기 챔버 내로 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 공급하는 과정;
(c) 상기 챔버 내에 분무된 코팅액에 의해 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 외면이 염착되는 과정; 및
(d) 상기 코팅액이 염착된 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 챔버 외부로 배출시키는 과정;
을 포함하고,
상기 과정(a)는 초음파 스프레이 분사법으로 10 Hz 내지 100 Hz의 초음파를 코팅액에 인가하여 코팅액을 분사하며,
상기 챔버에서 코팅액의 분무 농도는 10-5 mole/L 내지 10-1 mole/L의 범위이고,
상기 코팅액은 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 진행 방향에 동일한 방향 또는 대향 방향으로 분사되며,
상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름은 회전 롤러들에 의해 챔버의 내부 및 외부로 이동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 편광자로서 작용하는 성분을 포함하는 코팅액은 요오드를 포함하는 수용액인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 회전 롤러들 중의 두 개 이상은 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 상면 및 하면에 각각 동시에 접촉하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름은 챔버 내에서 0.5 m/min 내지 40 m/min로 이동하면서 염착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름은 챔버 내부에서 직선 이동 경로, 브이(V)자 이동 경로, 및 유(U)자 이동 경로로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 이동 경로를 따라 이동하도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 코팅액이 염착된 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 연신하는 과정을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 연신 과정에서 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 연신 배율은 1.5 내지 6 배인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항에 따른 편광필름의 제조 방법에 사용되는 장치로서,
(a) 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 이동을 위한 유입구 및 배출구가 형성된 챔버;
(b) 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 일면에 접촉되면서 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 이동시키는 둘 이상의 회전 롤러; 및
(c) 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 염착시키기 위하여 초음파 진동자를 포함하는 코팅액 분사기;
를 포함하고,
상기 코팅액 분사기는 초음파 스프레이 분사법으로 10 Hz 내지 100 Hz의 초음파를 코팅액에 인가하여 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 진행 방향에 동일한 방향 또는 대향 방향으로 코팅액을 분사하며,
상기 챔버에서 코팅액의 분무 농도는 10-5 mole/L 내지 10-1 mole/L 의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름 제조 장치. - 제 10 항에 있어서, 분무된 코팅액을 챔버 내에서 순환시키기 위한 송풍기를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광필름 제조 장치.
- 제 1 항에 따른 편광필름의 제조 방법으로 제조되고, 코팅액이 폴리비닐알코올계 필름 상에 염착된 것을 특징으로 하는 편광 필름.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 상기 편광 필름은 편광도가 99.95% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광 필름.
- 제 12 항에 따른 편광 필름의 상면과 하면에 각각 보호필름을 부착하여 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 보호필름은 트리아세틸 셀룰로오스계 수지(Triacetyl Cellulose) 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
