Claims (20)
- 신체 활동(physical activity) 동안의 에너지 소비에 관한 데이터를 수집 및 정량화하도록 구성되는 운동 시스템(exercise system)으로서,
신체 활동 동안의 에너지 소비에 관한 데이터를 수집하도록 구성되는 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드; 및
휴대용 허브를 포함하며,
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드는,
신체 활동 동안에 적어도 하나의 신체(body) 일부에 의해 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드에 힘이 가해지는 것에 응답하여 제1 출력 신호를 생성하도록 구성되는 적어도 하나의 힘 센서;
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 상기 휴대용 허브에 대해 식별하도록 구성되는 식별 센서 - 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 상기 휴대용 허브에 대해 식별하는 것은 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드와 관련된 적어도 하나의 신체 일부를 표시하는 것을 포함함 -; 및
상기 제1 출력 신호를 송신하도록 구성되는 제1 통신 장치를 포함하며,
상기 휴대용 허브는 신체 활동 동안에 소비된 에너지에 관한 데이터를 정량화하도록 구성되며, 상기 휴대용 허브는 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드로부터 물리적으로 분리 및 구분되며, 상기 휴대용 허브는,
규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 정보를 사용자에게 제시(presentation)하기 위해 디스플레이하도록 구성되는 디스플레이 장치 - 상기 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 상기 정보는 상기 규정된 운동 루틴의 완료 레벨을 포함함 -;
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드의 상기 제1 통신 장치로부터 상기 제1 출력 신호를 수신하도록 구성되는 제2 통신 장치; 및
하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈을 실행하도록 구성되는 프로세서를 포함하고,
상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은,
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드의 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 센서에 의해 생성되는 상기 제1 출력 신호에 기초하여 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터를 결정하도록 구성되는 운동 분석 모듈 - 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터는 상기 신체 활동 동안 가해지는 상기 힘의 크기를 포함하고, 상기 운동 분석 모듈은 또한 시간의 함수로서 상기 힘의 상기 크기에 기초하여 상기 신체 활동 동안의 상기 에너지 소비를 결정하고, 상기 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 상기 정보를 결정하도록 구성됨 -; 및
상기 디스플레이 장치를 제어하여 상기 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 상기 정보를 제시하도록 구성되는 디스플레이 모듈을 포함하는, 운동 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터는 신체 활동 동안에 연소되는 칼로리, 신체 활동의 지속 시간, 시간의 함수로서의 신체 활동 동안에 가해지는 힘의 크기, 신체 활동 동안의 이동 거리, 신체 활동 동안에 상승된 고도, 또는 이전 신체 활동과 관련된 비교 정보 중 하나 이상을 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드는 둘 이상의 힘 감지 노드를 포함하고, 각각의 힘 감지 노드는:
신체 활동 동안에 적어도 하나의 신체 일부에 의해 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드에 힘이 가해지는 것에 응답하여 상기 제1 출력 신호를 생성하도록 구성되는 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 센서;
다른 힘 감지 노드들과 연관된 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드를 상기 휴대용 허브에 대해 식별하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 신체 일부가 상기 다른 힘 감지 노드들과 관련된 신체 일부들과 연관된 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드와 관련되어 있음을 표시하도록 구성되는 상기 식별 센서; 및
상기 제1 통신 장치
를 포함하고, 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드는 적어도 하나의 착용가능 물품(wearable item)을 착용한 적어도 하나의 신체 일부에 의해 가해지는 힘이 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드에 가해지도록 상기 적어도 하나의 착용가능 물품에 통합되고, 상기 적어도 하나의 착용가능 물품을 착용하는 상기 신체 일부는 상기 각각의 힘 감지 노드와 관련되는 신체 일부인, 운동 시스템. - 제3항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 착용가능 물품은 장갑류(handwear)를 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드는 적어도 하나의 인솔(insole)에 통합되며, 상기 적어도 하나의 인솔은 적어도 하나의 신발을 착용한 적어도 하나의 발 바닥에 의해 가해지는 힘이 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드에 가해지도록 상기 적어도 하나의 신발에 의해 수용되도록 구성되는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이 장치는 또한 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터에 관한 정보를 사용자에게 제시하기 위해 디스플레이하도록 구성되고, 상기 디스플레이 모듈은 또한 상기 디스플레이 장치를 제어하여 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터에 관한 정보를 제시하도록 구성되는, 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휴대용 허브는 사용자 구성가능 세팅을 사용자에게 제시하고, 상기 사용자로부터의 상기 사용자 구성가능 세팅에 대한 값들의 선택들을 수신하도록 구성되는 사용자 인터페이스를 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휴대용 허브는 전력 공급기를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은 상기 전력 공급기에 의해 전달되는 전력을 관리하도록 구성되는 전력 관리 모듈을 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휴대용 허브는 상기 휴대용 허브의 지오-로케이션(geo-location)에 관한 제2 출력 신호를 생성하도록 구성되는 지오-로케이션 센서를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은 상기 지오-로케이션 센서의 상기 제2 출력 신호를 수신하도록 구성되는 센서 모듈을 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 운동 분석 모듈은 또한 상기 지오-로케이션 센서에 의해 생성된 상기 제2 출력 신호에 기초하여 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터를 결정하도록 구성되는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휴대용 허브는 상기 휴대용 허브의 모션에 관한 제3 출력 신호를 생성하도록 구성되는 모션 센서를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은 상기 모션 센서의 상기 제3 출력 신호를 수신하도록 구성되는 센서 모듈을 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 운동 분석 모듈은 또한 상기 모션 센서에 의해 생성된 상기 제3 출력 신호에 기초하여 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터를 결정하도록 구성되는 운동 시스템.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은 시계, 타이머, 스톱워치, 또는 상황 알람(occasion alarm)을 포함하는 하나 이상의 기능을 제공하도록 구성되는 시계 모듈(clocking module)을 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 프로그램 모듈은 상기 휴대용 허브와 관련된 달력을 관리하도록 구성되는 달력 모듈(calendaring module)을 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휴대용 허브의 상기 제2 통신 장치는 또한 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터에 관한 정보를 송신하도록 구성되는 운동 시스템.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드 및 상기 휴대용 허브로부터 물리적으로 분리 및 구분되며, 상기 휴대용 허브의 상기 제2 통신 장치에 의해 송신되는 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터에 관한 상기 정보를 수신 및 프로세싱하도록 구성되는 컴퓨팅 플랫폼을 더 포함하는 운동 시스템.
- 신체 활동 동안의 에너지 소비에 관한 데이터를 수집 및 정량화하는 방법으로서,
신체 활동 동안에 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드에 힘이 가해지는 것에 응답하여 제1 출력 신호를 생성하는 단계;
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 휴대용 허브에 대해 식별하는 단계 - 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 상기 휴대용 허브에 대해 식별하는 것은 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드와 관련된 적어도 하나의 신체 일부를 표시하는 것을 포함함 -;
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드로부터 상기 휴대용 허브로 상기 제1 출력 신호를 송신하는 단계 - 상기 휴대용 허브는 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드로부터 물리적으로 분리 및 구분됨 -;
상기 휴대용 허브에서, 상기 제1 출력 신호에 기초하여 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터를 결정하는 단계 - 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터는 상기 신체 활동 동안 가해지는 상기 힘의 크기를 포함함 -;
상기 휴대용 허브에서, 시간의 함수로서 상기 힘의 상기 크기에 기초하여 상기 신체 활동 동안의 상기 에너지 소비를 결정하는 단계;
상기 휴대용 허브에서, 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 정보를 결정하는 단계 - 상기 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 상기 정보는 상기 규정된 운동 루틴의 완료 레벨을 포함함 -;
상기 휴대용 허브에서, 상기 하나 이상의 운동 파라미터에 관한 정보를 제시하는 단계; 및
상기 휴대용 허브에서, 상기 규정된 운동 루틴과 관련된 상기 정보를 제시하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드는 노드 프로세서를 더 포함하고, 상기 노드 프로세서는,
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 센서, 상기 식별 센서, 및 상기 제1 통신 장치를 제어하고;
상기 제1 통신 장치에 의한 송신을 위해 상기 제1 출력 신호를 수신 및 프로세싱하고;
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드에 대한 전력을 관리하도록 구성되고,
상기 제1 통신 장치는 소프트웨어 및 펌웨어 업데이트를 수신하도록 구성되는, 운동 시스템. - 제18항에 있어서,
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드의 프로세서를 사용하여 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 제어하는 단계;
상기 휴대용 허브로의 송신을 위해 상기 프로세서를 사용하여 상기 제1 출력 신호를 수신 및 프로세싱하는 단계;
상기 프로세서를 사용하여 상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드에 대한 전력을 관리하는 단계; 및
상기 적어도 하나의 힘 감지 노드를 사용하여 소프트웨어 및 펌웨어 업데이트를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
