Claims (5)
- ATM망에서의 트래픽 연결 수락을 제어하는 장치에 있어서,각각의 접속 노드로 들어오는 호들의 연결 수락 요청시 각각의 연결 수락 제어기들에 의해 계산되는 등가 대역폭을 조합하여 얻어지는 최대 쎌률로 연결 수락 여부를 결정하는 연결 수락 제어부(20)와;상기 연결 수락 제어부(20)로 입력되는 각 트래픽 클래스의 대역폭의 전체합에 대해 각 트래픽 클래스의 등가 대역폭의 비율만큼 전송 채널의 용량을 클래스의 서비스 용량으로 결정하는 대역폭 할당 결정부(10)와;상기 연결 수락 제어부를 통한 ATM쎌을 일시 저장하는 버퍼부(30)와;상기 버퍼부(30)에 저장된 각 클래스의 ATM쎌을 라운드 로빈 방식으로 인출하여 전송 채널로 전송하는 서버(40)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 에이티엠(ATM)망에서의 이질 트래픽 연결 수락 제어장치.
- 청구항1에 있어서, 상기 연결 수락 제어부(20)는;망의 접속 노드로 유입되는 각 트래픽 클래스에 일대일로 대응되게 병렬로 구비되어 트래픽 측정을 통해 추정된 쎌 개수 분포함수로 각 트래픽 클래스의 등가 대역폭을 산출하여 새로운 호의 요청시 연결 수락 여부를 제어하는 다수개의 연결 수락 제어기(20-1-20-M)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 에이티엠(ATM)망에서의 이질 트래픽 연결 수락 제어장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 버퍼부(30)는;상기 연결 수락 제어부(20)내의 각각의 연결 수락 제어기(20-1-20-M)에 일대일로 대응되게 구비되어 전송할 ATM쎌을 일시 저장하는 다수개의 버퍼(30-1-30-M)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 에이티엠(ATM)망에서의 이질 트래픽 연결수락 제어장치.
- 각 클래스의 트래픽 측정을 통해 추정된 쎌 개수 분포함수로 개별 트래픽 클래스의 등가 대역폭을 산출하는 제 1 과정과;상기 제 1 과정후 새로운 호의 연결이 요청되면 상기 산출한 등가 대역폭의 비율만큼 전송 채널의 용량을 결정하는 제 2 과정과;상기 새로운 호의 연결을 요청한 호의 최대 쎌률과 전체 클래스의 등가 대역폭의 합을 가산한 결과치와 상기 제 2 과정에서 결정한 링크 용량을 비교하여 연결 요청을 제어하는 제 3 과정으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 에이티엠(ATM)망에서의 이질 트래픽 연결수락 제어방법.
- 청구항 4항에 있어서, 상기 제 3 과정은,새로운 호의 연결을 요청한 호의 최대 쎌률과 전체 클래스의 등가 대역폭을 합한값과 상기 링크 용량을 비교하여 그 합산치가 링크 용량 보다 작으면 새로운 호의 연결 요청을 수락하고, 상기 합산치가 링크 용량보다 크면 새로운 호의 연결 요청을 거절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에이티엠(ATM)망에서의 이질 트래픽 연결수락 제어방법.
