Claims (4)
- 공작물 재료를 규정하는 주어진 기계 가공에 따라 동일한 공작물(identical workpieces)을 절삭하는 스톡 제거 커터(stock removal cutter) 및 상기 스톡 제거 컷터와 동일한 종류이고 기준 평균 공구 마모 계수 Ro를 갖는 사실상 새로운 스톡 제거 커터에 대한 순시 공구 표시를 제공하기 위해 공구의 상태(tool status)를 자동적으로 모니터링하기 위한 시스템에 있어서,(a) i번째 연속 공작물의 절삭 중에 주 구동 절삭 토크(main drive cutting torque) M을 측정하기 위한 토크 모니터와,(b) 상기 i번째 공작물의 절삭 동안 스톡 제거 컷터에 대한 복수의 순시 공구 마모 계수 r(j)을 일반식 M(j)= AoF(j) αr(j) β(여기서, F는 스톡 제거 컷터와 공작물 간에서의 상대 이동의 순시 이송율이고, Ao, α, β는 스톡 제거 컷터와 공작물 재료의 결합에 따른 계수임)에 따라 계산하기 위한 순시 공구 마모 계수 프로세서와,(c) 상기 복수의 순시 공구 마모 계수 r(j)로부터 스톡 제거 컷터에 대한 평균 공구 마모 계수 R(i)을 계산하기 위한 평균 공구 마모 계수 프로세서와(d) 상기 평균 공구 마모 계수 R(i)을 기준 평균 공구 마모 계수 Ro와 비교하여 각각의 i번째 연속 공작물을 절삭한 후의 스톡 제거 컷터에 대한 순시 공구 상태 표시를 제공하는 공구 마모 계수 비교기를 포함하는것을 특징으로 하는 공구 상태를 자동적으로 모니터링하기 위한 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 순시 공구 마모 계수 프로세서는 스톡 제거 컷터가 밀링 컷터이고 Fz이 상기 밀링 컷터의 이당 이송량(feed per tooth)일 때 순시 공구 마모 계수 r(j)를 M(j)= AoFz(j) αr(j) β에 따라 계산하는것을 특징으로 하는 공구 상태를 자동적으로 모니터링하기 위한 시스템.

- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (b)는 스톡 제거 컷터가 밀링 컷터이고 Fz이 상기 밀링 컷터의 이당 이송량일 때 순시 공구 마모 계수 r(j)를 일반식 M(j)= AoFz(j) αr(j) β에 따라 계산하는것을 포함하는 공구 상태를 자동적으로 모니터링하기 위한 방법.
