Claims (12)
- 차량의 변속기 케이스(16)에 있어서,입력 부재(122,254)와,출력 부재(164,302)와,상기 입력 부재와의 회전을 위해 배치되는 제 1 다수의 원형 클러치 부재(150,276)와,상기 입력 부재와의 회전을 위해 배치되고 상기 제 1 다수의 원형 클러치 부재에 끼워지는 제 2 다수의 원형 클러치 부재(156,286)와,상기 개재되는 제 1 및 제 2 다수의 클러치 부재들의 사이에 배치되는 자기 유동(magnetorheological) 유체(154)와, 그리고상기 개재되는 제 1 및 제 2 다수의 원형 클러치 부재에 인접하게 배치되는 자속 발생부(magnetic flux source)(200,330)를, 조합하여 포함하는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 자속 발생부(200,330)는 하우징(202,332) 내에 배치되는 전자기 코일인 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 입력 부재(122,254)는 샤프트(60)에 결합되고 상기 출력 부재는 체인 구동 스프로킷(180,320)에 결합되는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 변속기(14)에 의해 구동되어지도록 개조되는 입력 샤프트(52), 출력부(84)를 구비하는 플래니터리 기어 감속 조립체(50), 및 직접 구동을 달성하기 위해 상기 입력 부재에 상기 입력 샤프트를 맞물리며 감속 구동을 달성하기 위해 상기 입력 부재에 상기 플래니터리 기어 감속 조립체의 상기 출력부를 맞물리기 위한 클러치 조립체(90)를 더 포함하는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 입력 부재와 상기 출력 부재는 유체 실(seals)(144,168,306,310)을 포함하는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 다수의 원형 클러치 부재(276,286)는 원형 플레이트인 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 원형 플레이트는 다수의 아치형 슬롯(278)을 한정하고 상기 슬롯은 아치형 스패이서(282)를 수용하는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 다수의 원형 클러치 부재(150,156)는 환형부(annuli)인 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 환형부의 주위로 확장하는 자속 유도 금속 환형부(164)를 더 포함하는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 다수의 원형 클러치 부재(150,156)는 동심으로 배치되는 점진적인 사이즈의 환형부이며 자동-조심(self-centering)되는 차량의 변속기 케이스.
- 제 1항의 자기 유동 유체 클러치에 있어서,상기 자속 발생부(200,330)는 변조된 전기 신호에 의해 구동되는 전기 코일인 자기 유동 유체 클러치.
- 차량의 차동 장치에 있어서,입력 구성 요소(412)와,상기 입력 구성 요소에 의해 구동되고 출력 구성 요소(428)를 구비하는 기어 세트(414.424)와,상기 출력 구성 요소에 의해 구동되는 한 쌍의 자기 유동 클러치 조립체(400)를 조합하여 포함하되,상기 자기 유동 클러치 조립체의 각각은, 입력 부재(446), 출력 부재(480), 상기 입력 부재와의 회전을 위해 배치되는 제 1 다수의 클러치 부재(456), 상기 출력 부재와의 회전을 위해 배치되고 상기 제 1 다수의 클러치 부재에 끼워지는 제 2 다수의 클러치 부재(468), 상기 개재되는 다수의 클러치 부재의 사이에 배치되는 자기 유동 유체(154), 및 상기 개재되는 다수의 클러치 부재에 인접하게 배치되는 전자기 코일(500)을 구비하는 차량의 차동 장치.
