Claims (7)
- (A) 서열 목록에서 서열 2로 제시된 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 단백질; 또는 (B) 서열 목록에서 서열 2로 제시된 아미노산 서열에서 하나 또는 수개의 아미노산의 결실, 치환, 삽입 또는 부가를 포함하는 아미노산 서열을 포함하고 단백질 L-호모세린-내성을 갖는 세균을 생산하는 활성을 갖는 단백질로 정의된 바와 같은 단백질을 암호화하는 DNA.
- 제1항에 있어서, (a) 서열 목록에서 서열 1로 제시된 뉴클레오티드 서열 중 뉴클레오티드 제557번 내지 제1171번의 뉴클레오티드 서열을 포함하는 DNA; 또는 (b) 엄격한 조건하에 서열 목록에서 서열 1로 제시된 뉴클레오티드 서열 중 뉴클레오티드 제557번 내지 제1171번의 뉴클레오티드 서열로 하이브리드화하고 단백질 L-호모세린-내성을 갖는 세균을 제조하는 활성을 갖는 단백질을 암호화하는 DNA로 정의된 바와 같은 DNA.
- 세균의 L-호모세린 내성이 제1항에 정의된 바와 같은 DNA의 복제수를 세균의 세포내에서 증폭시킴으로써 증강되는, 에스케리키아(Escherichia) 속에 속하는 세균.
- 제3항에 있어서, 제1항에 정의된 바와 같은 DNA가 세균의 세포내의 다복사체 상에 보유되는 세균.
- 제3항에 있어서, 제1항에 정의된 바와 같은 DNA가 세균의 세포내의 트랜스포손 상에 보유되는 세균.
- 아미노산을 생산하는 능력을 갖는 제3항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 정의된 바와 같은 세균을 배양 배지에서 배양하여 아미노산을 배지내에 생성시키고 축적시키는 단계, 및 상기 아미노산을 배지로부터 회수하는 단계를 포함하여, 아미노산을 제조하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 아미노산이 L-호모세린, L-알라닌, L-이소로이신, L-발린 및 L-트레오닌으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상인 방법.
