Description
Claims (13)
- 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스를 수신하는 단계;서브 픽셀 정확도를 갖는 상기 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스에서 움직임을 추정하는 단계; 및상기 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스 및 상기 추정된 움직임으로부터 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상의 생성 방법에 있어서,상기 화상의 시퀀스를 움직임 보상 예측 부호화하여, 상기 시퀀스의 연속적인 화상간의 움직임을 표시하는 움직임 벡터를 생성하는 부호화 단계;상기 부호화된 화상을 복호화하는 단계; 및상기 복호화된 화상 및 상기 부호화 단계에서 생성된 움직임 벡터로부터 고해상도 화상을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고해상도 정지 화상의 생성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 생성 단계는, 고해상도 범위에서, 이전에 생성된 화상에 현재 복호화된 화상을 반복적으로 가산하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 이전에 생성된 화상은 상기 현재 복호화된 화상에 관련된 상기 움직임 벡터에 따라 움직임 보상이 수행되는 고해상도 정지 화상의 생성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 부호화된 화상을 기록 매체상에 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상의 생성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화상의 시퀀스를 부호화하는 단계는 복호화된 화상의 IPPP.. 시퀀스를 생성하도록 배치된 MPEG 부호기의 사용을 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상의 생성 방법.
- 움직임 보상 예측 부호화된 화상의 형태로 수신된 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스와 상기 시퀀스의 연속적인 화상 사이의 움직임을 표시하는 움직임 벡터로부터 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 방법에 있어서,상기 부호화된 화상을 복호화하는 단계; 및상기 복호화된 화상 및 상기 수신된 움직임 벡터로부터 상기 고해상도 화상을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 생성 단계는, 고해상도 범위에서, 이전에 생성된 화상에 현재 복호화된 화상을 반복적으로 가산하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 이전에 생성된 화상은 상기 현재 복호화된 화상에 관련된 상기 움직임 벡터에 따라 움직임 보상이 수행되는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 움직임 보상 예측 부호화된 화상 및 움직임 벡터의 시퀀스는 부호화된 화상의 IPPP.. 시퀀스를 포함하는 MPEG 비디오 비트스트림의 형태로 수신되는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 방법.
- 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스를 수신하기 위한 수단(1);서브 픽셀 정확도를 갖는 상기 저해상도 화상의 상기 시퀀스에서의 움직임을 추정하는 수단; 및상기 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스 및 상기 움직임 벡터로부터 상기 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하기 위한 수단(5)을 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치에 있어서,상기 시퀀스의 연속적인 화상간의 움직임을 표시하는 움직임 벡터를 생성하기 위한 움직임 추정기(24)를 포함하며, 상기 화상의 시퀀스를 움직임 보상 예측 부호화하기 위한 부호기(2);상기 부호화된 화상을 복호화하기 위한 복호기(4)를 더 포함하며,상기 생성 수단(5)은 상기 복호화된 화상 및 상기 부호기(2)에 의해 생성된 상기 움직임 벡터로부터 상기 고해상도 화상을 생성하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 생성 수단은, 상기 고해상도 범위에서, 이전에 형성된 화상에 현재 복호화된 화상을 반복적으로 가산하는 수단(53,54)을 포함하며,상기 이전에 생성된 화상은 상기 현재 복호화된 화상에 관련된 상기 움직임 벡터에 따라 움직임 보상(55)이 수행되는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 부호화된 화상을 저장하는 기록 매체(3)를 더 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 부호기(2)는 부호화된 화상의 IPPP.. 시퀀스를 생성하도록 배치된 MPEG 부호기인 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치.
- 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치에 있어서,움직임 보상 예측 부호화된 화상 형태의 저해상도 화상의 시퀀스와 상기 시퀀스의 연속적인 화상 사이의 움직임을 표시하는 움직임 벡터를 수신하는 수단;상기 부호화된 화상을 복호화하는 복호기(4); 및상기 복호화된 화상 및 상기 수신된 움직임 벡터로부터 상기 고해상도 화상을 생성하는 수단(5)을 포함하는 고해상도 정지 화상을 생성하는 장치.
- 제 10 항에 청구된 장치를 포함하는 영상 기록 및 재생 장치에 있어서,저해상도 화상을 얻기 위한 영상 센서(1)를 더 포함하는 영상 기록 및 재생 장치.
