Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 박막 트랜지스터에 적용되는 환경광원 감지 방법에 있어서,축전기를 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 소스(source)에 결합하는 단계;상기 축전기의 부하를 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 누전류에 따라 감소시키는 단계;상기 축전기의 전위가 전하 감소에 의해 상태가 전환될 때 필요한 상태 전환 시간을 계산하는 단계; 및상기 계산된 상태 전환 시간을 기반으로 환경 광원의 강도를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 축전기 상에 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)를 설치하여 상기 축전기의 전위를 디지털 신호로 전환시키도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)는 반전 증폭기를 사용하는 것을 특징 으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 축전기 상에 데이터 감지선을 설치하여 상기 축전기의 전위를 출력하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 축전기와 상기 데이터 감지선 사이에 센스 스위치를 설치하여, 상기 축전기의 전위를 감지하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 박막 트랜지스터는 비정질실리콘(a-Si) 박막 트랜지스터 혹은 폴리실리콘(poly-Si) 박막 트랜지스터를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 방법.
- 화소 구조에 적용되는 환경광원 감지 회로에 있어서,누전류의 크기가 환경광원의 강도와 서로 정비례하는 박막 트랜지스터;한 끝은 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 소스와 연결 결합되며, 다른 한 끝은 접지되는 축전기; 및상기 박막 트랜지스터의 소스와 데이터 감지선 사이에 연결되는 센스 스위치를 포함하고,상기 박막트랜지스터의 누전류는 환경광원이 변화함에 따라 변화하여, 상기 축전기의 전위가 고전위에서 저전위 상태로 변화할 때 필요한 상태 전환 시간을 변화시키고,상기 센스 스위치는 상기 축전기의 전위를 상기 데이터 감지선으로 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 회로.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 축전기와 상기 센스 스위치 사이에 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)를 연결 설치하여, 상기 축전기의 전위를 디지털 신호로 전환시키도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 회로.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)는 반전 증폭기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 회로.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 박막 트랜지스터는 비정질실리콘(a-Si) 박막 트랜지스터 혹은 폴리실리콘(poly-Si) 박막 트랜지스터를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 환경광원 감지 회로.
- 환경광원에 따라 조명모듈의 밝기를 조절할 수 있는 LCD에 있어서,상기 LCD의 복수 개의 화소에 연결 설치되는 복수 개의 축전기;상기 축전기의 전위를 감지하기 위해 상기 축전기와 하나의 데이터 감지선 사이에 연결 설치되는 복수 개의 센스 스위치; 및상기 축전기의 전위 상태 전환 상에 필요한 전위 상태 전환 시간을 기반으로 환경광원의 강도를 계산하여, 상기 조명모듈의 밝기를 조절하는 프로세스 모듈을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LCD.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 축전기와 상기 센스 스위치 사이에 복수 개의 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)를 설치하여, 상기 약간의 축전지의 전위를 디지털 신호로 전환하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LCD.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 로직 NOT 게이트(logic NOT gate)는 반전 증폭기를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LCD.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 조명모듈은 백라이드 모듈로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 LCD.
