Claims (12)
- 다가오는 조류 흐름(current flow)을 향하도록 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치에 있어서,원하는 회전축 주위에서 수류 발전 장치의 본체에 토크를 가할 수 있도록 적절한 위치에서 수류 발전 장치의 본체에 설치된 수력학적 스러스터들, 및수류 발전 장치의 본체와 그의 해저 또는 하상 지지 구조물 사이에 설치되어, 원하는 회전축 주위의 자유도를 허용하는 기계적인 연결수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 수류 발전 장치의 본체와 그의 지지 구조물 사이의 기계적인 연결 수단은 회전 베어링인 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서,복수의 스러스터 대신에 단일 스러스터가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 3 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 스러스터들 또는 스러스터들에 대한 동력원은, 내장형 수류 발전 장치로부터, 또는 해상 선박(surface vessel)으로부터, 또는 분리된 해저 또는 하상 장착 유닛으로부터 공급되거나, 또는 해안으로부터 직접 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,그의 지지 구조물에 대해서 수류 발전 장치의 본체의 최종 방위를 제어하기 위해 위치 조정장치(position stops)가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 5 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 본체가 방향 전환된 후, 상기 수류 발전 장치의 본체의 방위가 그의 지지 구조물에 대해서 클램핑될 수 있거나 또는 기계적으로 록킹될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치의 방위를 맞추기 위한 장치.
- 첨부 도면을 참조하여 실질적으로 기술된 바와 같은 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 장치.
- 다가오는 조류 흐름을 향하도록 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법으로서, 상기 수류 발전 장치가, 수력학적 스러스터들과, 원하는 회전축 주위의 자유도 를 허용하는 그의 본체와 그의 지지 구조물 사이의 기계적인 연결 부재를 포함하는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법에 있어서,원하는 회전축 주위에서 수류 발전 장치의 본체상에 조류에 의해 가해진 수력학적인 모멘트가 동일한 축 주위에서 동일한 본체상에 스러스터들에 의해 가해 질 수 있는 모멘트보다 더 작도록, 수류 흐름 속도가 충분히 낮을 때까지 대기하는 단계와,이러한 조류 흐름 상태에서, 새로운 조류 흐름 방향을 향할 때까지 원하는 회전축을 중심으로 수류 발전 장치의 본체를 방향 전환시키기 위해 충분한 순 토크(net torque)를 제공하도록 스러스터들에 동력을 공급하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법.
- 청구항 8에 있어서,상기 수류 발전 장치의 본체가 그 방향에서 추가의 이동을 방지하는 위치조정 장치에 부딛칠 때까지 스러스터에 동력을 공급하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법.
- 청구항 8 또는 9에 있어서,전력을 발생시키는 동안 일정한 방위를 유지하기 위해, 방향 전환이 완료된 후 그의 지지 구조물에 대해서 수류 발전 장치의 본체를 클램프하거나 또는 기계적으로 록킹하는 단계와,그의 방위에서의 차후의 추가의 변화를 실행하기 수류 발전 장치의 본체를 다시 해제하거나 또는 기계적으로 언로킹(unlocking)하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법.
- 청구항 8 내지 10 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 본체가 지지 구조물로부터 부분적으로 또는 완전히 분리될 수 있을 때, 정비 작업중에 수중에서 수류 발전 장치의 본체의 방위를 제어하기 위해 스러스터들을 사용하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법.
- 청구항 8 내지 11항에 청구되고 여기에 기술된 바와 같이 실질적으로 청구되는, 수류 발전 장치를 방향 전환시키는 방법.
