Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법으로서,a) 연료 라인을 통해 연료 유동을 제공하는 단계와,b) 상기 연료 라인으로부터 분사기로 전달되는 연료의 점도를 낮추기에 충분한 전기장에 상기 연료를 노출시키는 단계와,c) 상기 연료를 연료 라인으로부터 분사기로 전달하는 단계, 및d) 상기 연료를 분사기로부터 분사시키는 단계를 포함하는,분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 a) 단계 및 상기 b) 단계는 상기 전기장의 방향에 평행한 방향으로 상기 연료 유동을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는,분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 a) 단계 및 상기 b) 단계는 상기 전기장의 방향에 대향하는 방향으로 상기 연료 유동을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는,분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 b) 단계는 상기 연료를 약 800 V/mm 내지 약 1500 V/mm 범위의 세기를 갖는 전기장에 노출시키는 단계를 포함하는,분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 b) 단계는 상기 연료를 약 5 초 내지 약 15 간 전기장에 노출시키는 단계를 포함하는,분사기로부터 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 방법.
- 연소실로 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 장치로서,연료 라인과,상기 연료 라인 내에 배열되는 제 1 금속 메쉬와,상기 제 1 금속 메쉬 상류의 상기 연료 라인 내에 배열되는 제 2 금속 메쉬와,상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속 메쉬에 전기 연결되는 전기 공급원, 및상기 제 1 금속 메쉬 하류의 상기 연료 라인 단부에 배열되는 연료 분사기를 포함하며,상기 전기 공급원의 작동에 의해 상기 제 1 금속 메쉬와 제 2 금속 메쉬 사이에 전기장을 생성하는,연소실로 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 전기 공급원은 직류 공급원을 포함하는,연소실로 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 금속 메쉬는 애노드를 포함하는,연소실로 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 금속 메쉬는 상기 연료 라인 내의 연료가 상기 제 1 금속 메쉬와 제 2 금속 메쉬 사이로 약 5 초 내지 약 15 초간 이동하는데 필요한 충분한 거리만큼 상기 제 2 금속 메쉬 사이로부터 이격되어 있는,연소실로 분사되는 연료 입자 크기의 감소 장치.
- 차량 내의 가스 연료 효율의 개선 방법으로서,a) 연료 라인을 통해 연료를 유동시키는 단계와,b) 연료의 점도를 감소시키도록 상기 연료 라인 내의 연료에 전기장을 인가하는 단계, 및c) 연소를 위해 연료 분사기를 통해 연소실로 감소된 점도를 갖는 연료를 방출하는 단계를 포함하는,차량 내의 가스 연료 효율의 개선 방법.
- 기관으로부터의 출력 증가 방법으로서,a) 연료 라인을 통해 연료를 유동시키는 단계와,b) 연료의 점도를 감소시키도록 상기 연료 라인 내의 연료에 전기장을 인가하는 단계, 및c) 연소를 위해 연료 분사기를 통해 연소실로 감소된 점도를 갖는 연료를 방출하는 단계를 포함하는,기관으로부터의 출력 증가 방법.
- 기관으로부터의 오염원 방출 개선 방법으로서,a) 연료 라인을 통해 연료를 유동시키는 단계와,b) 연료의 점도를 감소시키도록 상기 연료 라인 내의 연료에 전기장을 인가하는 단계, 및c) 연소를 위해 연료 분사기를 통해 연소실로 감소된 점도를 갖는 연료를 방출하는 단계를 포함하는,기관으로부터의 오염원 방출 개선 방법.
