Description
Claims (19)
- 광물성 섬유를 위한 사이징(sizing) 조성물의 제형에 사용되도록 의도되고, 본질적으로 페놀-포름알데히드 및 페놀-포름알데히드-아민 응축물로 구성되고 적어도 1000%의 20℃에서의 물 희석성을 갖는, 액체 수지로서,0.3% 이하의 유리(free) 포름알데히드 함량 및 0.5% 이하의 유리 페놀 함량을 갖고, 상기 함량들은 총 액체 중량에 대해 표현되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 총 액체 중량에 대해 0.2% 이하, 바람직하게 0.1% 이하의 유리 포름알데히드 함량을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 아민은 화학식 R-NH2의 1차 아민이며, 여기서 R은, 1 내지 10 탄소 원자, 바람직하게 1 내지 6 탄소 원자를 포함하는 포화된 또는 불포화된, 선형, 측쇄형 또는 고리형 탄화수소 기를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소 기(R)는 적어도 하나의 히드록실 라디칼을 수용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 아민은 모노에탄올아민인 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 0.2% 미만의 유리 포름알데히드 함량, 0.4% 미만의 유리 페놀 함량, 및 2000% 이상의 물 희석성(water dilutability)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액체 수지.
- 본질적으로 페놀-포름알데히드 및 페놀-포름알데히드-아민 응축물로 구성되고 적어도 1000%의 20℃에서의 물 희석성, 0.3% 이하의 유리 포름알데히드 함량 및 0.5% 이하의 유리 페놀 함량을 갖는 수지를 제조하는 방법으로서, 상기 함량들은 총 액체 중량에 대해 표현되고, 상기 방법은, 염기성 촉매의 존재시 1보다 큰 포름알데히드/페놀 몰비로 페놀과 포름알데히드를 반응시키는 단계와, 반응 혼합물을 냉각시키는 단계와, 상기 냉각 동안 마니치 반응(Mannich reaction)을 통해 포름알데히드 및 유리 페놀과 반응하는 아민을 상기 반응 혼합물에 도입하는 단계를 포함하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법에 있어서,상기 냉각의 시작으로부터 곧바로 도입된 1차 아민이 사용되고, 상기 반응 혼합물은 10분에서 120분까지 변하는 시간 동안 도입 온도로 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 아민 도입의 지속기간은 20분에서 100분까지, 바람직하게 25분에서 50분까지 변하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 또는 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 포름알데히드는 2 내지 4, 바람직하게는 3 미만의 포름알데히드/페놀 몰비에서 그리고 93% 이상의 페놀 전환율로 페놀과 반응하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 내지 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 아민의 도입은 50 내지 65℃의 온도, 바람직하게 약 60℃의 온도로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 아민은 일반적인 화학식인 R-NH2에 대응하며, 여기서 R은 1 내지 10 탄소 원자, 바람직하게는 1 내지 6 탄소 원자를 함유하는 포화된 또는 불포화된, 선형, 측쇄형 또는 고리형 탄화수소 기를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소 기는 적어도 하나의 히드록실 라디칼을 수용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 12항에 있어서, 상기 아민은 모노에탄올아민인 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 내지 제 13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 아민은 개시 페놀의 몰 당 0.2 내지 0.7 몰, 바람직하게 0.25 내지 0.50 몰의 양으로 첨가되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 내지 제 14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 반응 혼합물은 냉각된 후에, pH가 8.5 미만, 바람직하게 7.0 미만, 더 바람직하게 4.0 내지 6.0이 되기에 충분한 양으로 산과 중화되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7항 내지 제 15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 산은 황산(sulphuric), 설파믹(sulphamic) 산, 인산 및 붕산으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 수지를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 페놀 수지와 선택적으로 요소 및 사이징 첨가제를 포함하는, 광물성 섬유를 위한 사이징 조성물.
- 제 17항에 따른 사이징 조성물로 사이징된 광물성 섬유를 포함하는, 단열재 제품, 특히 단열 및/또는 방음 제품.
- 광물성 섬유, 특히 유리 섬유 또는 암면 섬유를 주원료로 한 단열재 제품의 제조를 위한, 제 17항에 따른 사이징 조성물의 이용 방법.
