Description
Claims (4)
- 상변화 잉크 화상 장치를 작동시키기 위한 방법으로서,상변화 잉크 화상 장치의 프린트헤드 조립체에 압력 소스를 유체 연결시키는 단계로서, 상기 프린트헤드 조립체는 잉크 비말들을 잉크 수신기상으로 분사하기 위한 복수의 잉크젯들을 포함하는, 단계; 및대체로 퍼지 압력에서 전달되는 압력 펄스를 상기 프린트헤드 조립체로 전달하기 위해 상기 압력 소스를 활성화시키는 단계를 포함하며,상기 압력 펄스는 상기 압력 펄스가 복수의 잉크젯들로부터 잉크를 분사하는 일없이 복수의 잉크젯들로부터 잉크를 증가시키도록 펄스 지속 시간을 갖는, 상변화 잉크 화상 장치 작동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 압력 펄스를 상기 프린트헤드 조립체로 전달하기 위해 상기 압력 소스를 활성화시키는 단계는,상기 압력 펄스를 상기 프린트헤드 조립체로 전달하기 위해 상기 압력 소스를 활성화시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하며,상기 압력 펄스는 대체로 약 0.1 내지 약 8 psi 사이의 압력하에서 전달되며, 상기 펄스의 존속 기간은 약 0.05초 내지 약 1.5초 사이인, 상변화 잉크 화상 장치 작동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 압력 펄스를 상기 프린트헤드 조립체로 전달하기 위해 상기 압력 소스를 활성화시키는 단계는,압력 펄스 열(pressure pulse train)을 상기 프린트헤드 조립체로 전달하기 위해 상기 압력 소스를 활성화시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하며,상기 압력 펄스 열은 복수의 압력 펄스들을 포함하며, 상기 복수의 압력 펄스들 각각은 약 0.1 내지 약 8 psi 사이의 압력하에서 전달되는, 상변화 잉크 화상 장치 작동 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 압력 펄스 열에 있는 상기 압력 펄스들의 압력은 펄스로부터 펄스로 변화될 수 있는, 상변화 잉크 화상 장치 작동 방법.
