Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 주입구 말단 및 배출구 말단을 갖는 다공성 세라믹 허니컴 몸체를 포함하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터로서,상기 주입구 말단 및 배출구 말단이, 세라믹 몸체의 주입구 말단으로부터 배출구 말단까지 연장되는 인접하는 주입구 및 배출구 채널에 의해 연결되고,상기 주입구 및 배출구 채널이, 세라믹 플러그(ceramic plug)와, 상기 주입구 및 배출구 채널 사이의 다수의 인터레이싱된(interlaced) 얇은 가스 여과 다공성 파티션 벽으로 정의되어, 상기 주입구 채널이 세라믹 몸체의 배출구 말단에서 주입구 세라믹 플러그를 갖고, 상기 배출구 채널이 상기 세라믹 몸체의 주입구 말단에서 배출구 세라믹 플러그를 가져서, 주입구 말단으로 유체가 도입될 때, 상기 유체가 파티션 벽을 통과하여 배출구 말단으로 빠져나가며,상기 세라믹 허니컴 몸체가, 허니컴의 채널을 내려다 볼 때, (i) 2개 이상의 원형 아크(arc)로서, 이들 중 하나 이상이 다른 원형 아크(들)과는 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는 아크, (ii) 비-원형 아크, 또는 (iii) 임의의 아크의 부재하의 4개 이상의 직선형 챔퍼(chamfer)로 구성된 형태를 갖는 하나 이상의 바깥쪽 코너를 갖는,세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 바깥쪽 코너 각각이 상기 형태를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 바깥쪽 코너들이 상이한 형태를 가져서, 주입구 및 배출구 말단이 코너들의 배향으로 구별될 수 있는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,바깥쪽 코너 각각이 상이한 형태를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 2개 이상의 원형 아크로서, 상기 원형 아크 중 하나 이상이 다른 원형 아크와는 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 3개 이상의 원형 아크를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 동일한 곡률 반경을 갖는 2개의 원형 아크, 및 상기 동일한 곡률 반경을 갖는 원형 아크들과는 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는 하나의 원형 아크를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는 원형 아크가 상기 동일한 곡률 반경을 갖는 원형 아크들 사이에 배치되어 있는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,각각의 상기 동일한 곡률 반경을 갖는 원형 아크와 상기 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는 원형 아크 사이에 직선형 챔퍼가 존재하는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 하나 이상의 비-원형 아크인, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 10 항에 있어서상기 비-원형 아크가 포물선형, 쌍곡선형 또는 타원형인, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 둘 이상의 비-원형 아크의 조합인, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 비-원형 아크만으로 이루어진, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 하나 이상의 직선형 챔퍼로 구성된, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 하나 이상의 원형 아크로 구성된, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 임의의 아크의 부재하에 4개 이상의 직선형 챔퍼를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 16 항에 있어서,상기 형태가 5개 이상의 직선형 챔퍼 내지 20개 이하의 직선형 챔퍼를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,코너의 응력이, 하나의 원형 곡률 반경을 갖는 동일한 코너에 비해 5% 이상 감소된, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,바깥쪽 코너에 대향하는 안쪽 코너가, (i) 2개 이상의 원형 아크로서, 상기 원형 아크 중 하나 이상이 다른 원형 아크(들)과는 상이한 곡률 반경을 갖는 아크, (ii) 비-원형 아크, 또는 (iii) 임의의 아크의 부재하의 4개 이상의 직선형 챔퍼인 형태를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,안쪽 코너가 상기 안쪽 코너에 대향하는 바깥쪽 코너의 형태와 상이한 형태를 갖는, 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
