Claims (6)
- 액정 디스플레이의 백라이트 장치에 이용되는 광학 유닛에 있어서,광원으로부터 사출한 빛의 광로상에,입사한 빛을 산란하는 기능을 갖는 판 형상의 확산 수단과,빛의 사출측에 대략 반구체(半球體) 또는 대략 반타원체의 복수의 마이크로 렌즈를 갖는 제1 집광 수단을 구비하며,상기 확산 수단은, 광산란부와, 상기 광산란부의 상기 광원과 대향하는 면에 형성된 단면이 톱니 형상이고 꼭지각이 상기 광원 방향을 향하는 제1 돌조(突條) 프리즘과, 상기 광산란부의 타면에 형성된 단면이 톱니 형상이고 꼭지각이 상기 제1 돌조 프리즘의 꼭지각과 역방향을 향하는 제2 돌조 프리즘을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 유닛.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 집광 수단으로부터 사출한 빛의 광로상에,빛의 사출측의 일면에 단면이 톱니 형상인 돌조 프리즘을 갖는 회절 수단과,빛의 사출측의 일면에 대략 반구체 또는 대략 반타원체의 복수의 마이크로 렌즈를 갖는 제2 집광 수단을 이 순서로 배치하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 유닛.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제2 집광수단으로부터 사출한 빛의 광로상에,입사한 빛을 2종류의 직선 편광 상태의 빛으로 분리하여, 분리된 한쪽의 직성 편광 상태의 빛을 투과하고, 다른 한쪽의 직선 편광 상태의 빛을 반사하는 편광 분리 수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 유닛.
- 광원과,제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 광학 유닛과,상기 광학 유닛에 대하여 상기 광원을 사이에 끼워 대향하는 위치에 배치된 반사판을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 장치.
- 제4항에 기재된 백라이트 장치와,상기 백라이트 장치에 있어서의 상기 광원에 대하여 상기 광학 유닛을 사이에 끼워 대향하는 위치에 배치된 액정 패널을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 모듈.
- 제5항에 기재된 액정 모듈과,상기 액정 모듈을 구동하는 액정 구동 회로를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이.
