Claims (9)
- 산소 또는 산소-함유 기체를 사용한 시클로헥산의 시클로헥사논/시클로헥산올로의 촉매 산화의 부산물로서 수득되고, 아디프산, 6-히드록시카프로산, 6-옥소카프로산, 4-히드록시시클로헥사논, 포름산 및 0.5 내지 5 중량% (아디프산 및 히드록시카프로산의 합 기준)의 1,4-시클로헥산디올을 포함하는 카르복실산 혼합물로부터, 1,6-헥산디올을 제조하는 방법으로서,
반응 혼합물을 물로 추출하고, 지류 (substream)를 헥산디올로 에스테르화 및 수소화시키고,
a) 수성 카르복실산 혼합물에 존재하는 단지 알데히드 및 케톤을 상응하는 알콜로 촉매 수소화시키고, 혼합물에 존재하는 50% 초과의 포름산을 분해시키고,
b) 탈수 후, 수성 반응 혼합물에 존재하는 모노- 및 디카르복실산을 저분자량 알콜과 반응시켜 상응하는 카르복실산 에스테르를 얻고,
c) 과잉 알콜의 생성된 에스테르화 혼합물 및 저비점 물질을 제1 증류 단계에서 제거하고,
d) 제2 증류 단계에서, 하부 생성물을 1,4-시클로헥산디올이 고갈된 에스테르 분획 및 1,4-시클로헥산디올을 포함하는 분획으로 분리하고,
e) (d)로부터의 에스테르 분획을 촉매 수소화하고, 그 자체로 공지된 방식으로 수소화 생성물을 증류하여 1,6-헥산디올을 얻는
것을 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 단계 a)에서 수소화를 위한 촉매가 이산화티타늄 또는 활성탄 성형물 상에 지지된 루테늄, 코발트 또는 니켈을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 단계 a)에서 수소화를 위한 촉매의 금속 함량이 촉매적으로 활성인 금속 및 지지체로 이루어진 촉매의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.01 내지 10 중량%이고, DIN 66 131에 따라 측정된 BET 표면적이 5 내지 500 ㎡/g인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르화가 1 내지 3개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 알콜을 사용하여 수행되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르화가 4 내지 10개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 알콜을 사용하여 수행되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르화가 메탄올을 사용하여 수행되고, 증류 단계 (c)에서, 본질적으로 1,4-시클로헥산디올이 없는 메틸 카르복실레이트 분획이 컬럼의 상부에서 수득되고, 고비점 물질 및 1,4-시클로헥산디올을 포함하는 하부 분획 및 메틸 카르복실레이트 분획이 제3 증류 단계 (d)로 이송되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 에스테르화가 n- 또는 i-부탄올을 사용하여 수행되고, 증류 단계 (c)에서, 1,4-시클로헥산디올이 저비점 물질과 함께 상부를 통해 제거되고, 부틸 카르복실레이트가 이들을 포함하는 하부물 또는 사이드 스트림으로서 수득되고 제3 증류 단계 (d)로 이송되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증류 단계 (c) 및 (d)가 단일 컬럼에서 수행되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 저분자량 알콜 및 에스테르화 촉매를 추가로 첨가하여 단계 (c)의 하부 생성물을 적어도 부분적으로 추가로 에스테르화하고 (b) 및 (c)와 유사하게 별도의 증류 단계에서 분리하거나, 또는 단지 1,4-시클로헥산디올의 제거 후 추가로 에스테르화하고 카르복실산 에스테르를 포함하는 분획을 수소화 단계 (d)에 도입하는 방법.
