Claims (15)
- 5-하이드록시메틸퍼퓨랄("HMF"), 5-하이드록시메틸퍼퓨랄의 에스테르, 5-메틸퍼퓨랄, 5-(클로로메틸)퍼퓨랄, 5-메틸푸로산, 5-(클로로메틸)푸로산, 2,5-다이메틸퓨란 및 둘 이상의 이들의 화합물의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 화합물을 함유하는 피드(feed)와 산화제를 140℃ 보다 높은 온도에서 산화 촉매의 존재 하에 접촉시키는 단계를 포함하는 2,5-퓨란다이카르복시산의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 피드는 5-하이드록시메틸퍼퓨랄("HMF"), HMF의 에스테르, 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 화합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 상기 산화 촉매는 Co 및 Mn으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 금속을 적어도 하나는 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서,
상기 산화 촉매는 브롬 소스(source)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,
상기 산화 촉매는 Co 및 Mn을 모두 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,
상기 산화 촉매는 적어도 하나의 추가 금속을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서,
상기 추가 금속은 Zr 및/또는 Ce인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 산화제는 산소, 공기 또는 산소를 포함하는 다른 가스들로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 온도는 140 내지 200℃, 가장 바람직하게는 160 내지 190℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 용매 또는 용매 혼합물은 바람직하게는 모노카르복시산 작용기를 함유하는 용매를 포함하며 존재하고, 더욱 바람직하게는 아세트산 또는 아세트산 및 물의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 피드는 알킬 카르복시산의 에스테르 부분을 포함하는 HMF의 에스테르를 포함하되, 상기 알킬기는 최대 6 탄소 원자, 바람직하게는 1 내지 5 탄소 원자를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 5-하이드록시메틸퍼퓨랄("HMF"), 5-하이드록시메틸-퍼퓨랄의 에스테르, 5-메틸퍼퓨랄, 5-(클로로메틸)퍼퓨랄, 5- 메틸푸로산, 5-(클로로메틸)푸로산, 2,5-다이메틸퓨란, 및 둘 이상의 이들의 화합물의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 화합물을 함유하는 피드와 산화제를 140℃ 보다 높은 온도에서 산화 촉매의 존재 하에 접촉시키고, 이에 따라 획득된 생성물을 에스테르화 하는 단계를 포함하는 2,5-퓨란 다이카르복시산의 다이알킬 에스테르의 제조과정.
- 제 12항에 있어서,
상기 생성물은 C1-C5 알킬 알코올과 함께 에스테르화 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조과정.
- 상기 C1-C5 알킬 알코올은 메탄올이고, 상기 다이알킬 에스테르는 2,5-퓨란 다이카르복시산의 다이메틸에스테르인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조과정.
- 탄수화물 소스가 알킬 카르복시산의 존재 하에서 HMF의 에스테르 및 선택적으로 5-하이드록시메틸 퍼퓨랄을 포함하는 피드(feed)에서 분리된 HMF 에스테르 및 선택적으로 5-하이드록시메틸 퍼퓨럴을 포함하는 생성물로 전환되며, 산화촉매, 바람직하게는 코발트 및 망간 및 브롬화물 함유 촉매 존재하에서 적절한 반응조건으로 산화제와 피드(feed)를 접촉시키는 다음 단계를 포함하는 2,5-퓨란다이카르복시산의 제조방법.
