Abstract
상기 화학식에서,

추가로 또는 대안적으로, 두 인접 치환 위치는 독립적으로 융합된 4- 내지 7-원 환식 기를 형성하는데, 상기 환식기는 시클로알킬, 시클로헤테로알킬, 아릴 또는 헤테로아릴이고, 4- 내지 7-원 환식 기는 치환체 R로 임의 치환될 수 있으며;
m은 1 이상일 수 있고;
n은 1 이상이며;

Claims (38)
- 하기 화학식의 구조를 갖는 화합물:
상기 화학식에서,
M은 Ir 또는 Pt이고;
(C-N)은 시클로메탈화 리간드로서, [ ]n에 기재된 리간드와는 상이하며,
각 R8, R10 및 R12 내지 R14은 독립적으로 수소, C1-15 알킬, C2-15 알케닐, C2-15 알키닐, C1-15-알킬-C6아릴, CN, CF3, NO2, 할로, C6 아릴, 1 내지 3개의 N 또는 O의 이종원자를 갖는 C3-7 헤테로아릴, N 또는 O로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 이종원자를 갖는 C3-7 복소환 기에서 선택되고;
추가로 또는 대안적으로, R12 내지 R14 중에서 임의의 두 인접 치환 위치는 함께 독립적으로 융합된 4- 내지 7-원 환식기를 형성하는데, 상기 환식기는 시클로알킬, N 또는 O로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 이종원자를 갖는 시클로헤테로알킬, 아릴 또는 1 내지 3개의 N 또는 O 이종원자를 갖는 헤테로아릴이고;
m은 1 이상이고;
n은 1 이상이며;
m + n은 금속에 결합될 수 있는 최대 리간드 수이다. - 제1항에 있어서, n은 2인 것인 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, M은 Ir인 것인 화합물.
- 제3항에 있어서, R8, R10 및 R12 내지 R14은 H인 것인 화합물.
- 제4항에 있어서, n은 2이고 m은 1인 것인 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 R8, R10 및 R12 내지 R14은 독립적으로 페닐, 나프틸 또는 피리딜로부터 선택되는 것인 화합물.
- 제12항에 있어서, R8, R10 및 R12 내지 R14 중 하나 이상은 페닐인 것인 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화합물은 인광 방출 물질인 것인 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, [ ]m 에 기재된 리간드는 실온에서 인광 방출 리간드이고, [ ]n에 기재된 리간드는 실온에서 인광 방출 리간드가 아닌 것인 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화합물은 480 nm 미만의 피크 파장에서 방출하는 것인 화합물.
- (a) 애노드;
(b) 캐쏘드; 및
(c) 상기 애노드 및 캐쏘드 사이에 배치되어 상기 애노드 및 캐쏘드와 전기적으로 연결되며, 제1항의 화합물을 포함하는 방출층
을 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 제20항에 있어서, n은 2인 것인 소자.
- 제20항에 있어서, M은 Ir인 것인 소자.
- 제22항에 있어서, R8, R10 및 R12-R14는 H인 것인 소자.
- 제23항에 있어서, n은 2이고 m은 1인 것인 소자.
- 제20항에 있어서, 각 R8, R10 및 R12-R14는 독립적으로 페닐, 나프틸 또는 피리딜로부터 선택되는 것인 소자.
- 제31항에 있어서, R8, R10 및 R12-R14 중 하나 이상은 페닐인 것인 소자.
