도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 에지 향상 방법을 나타내는 순서도이다.

Claims (7)
- RGB 데이터를 수신하는 단계;
상기 RGB 데이터를 YCbCr 데이터로 변환하는 단계;
상기 YCbCr 데이터 중 Y 채널에 대해 에지 필터링을 수행하여 에지값을 추출하는 단계;
상기 추출한 에지값에 대해 노이즈인지 에지인지 모호성을 판단하는 단계;
상기 노이즈인지 에지인지 모호하다고 판단되면, 상기 에지값에 해당하는 픽셀에 n x n (n은 정수)마스크를 적용하고 상기 마스크에서 최소값, 최대값 및 평균값을 산출하는 단계;
상기 최소값, 최대값 및 평균값을 사용하여 상기 에지값에 해당하는 픽셀이 노이즈인지 에지인지를 판단하는 단계; 및
에지라고 판단되면 상기 에지값을 갖는 픽셀에 대해 에지 향상을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 에지 필터링은 스탠다드 라플라시안 커널에 의해 수행되는 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 에지값에 대해 모호성을 판단하는 단계는, 상기 에지값이 소정 범위 이내인지 판단하는 단계를 포함하는 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 n은 3 또는 5인 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 노이즈인지 에지인지 모호하지 않다고 판단되면, 상기 에지값에 대해 에지 향상을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 최소값, 최대값 및 평균값을 사용하여 상기 에지값에 해당하는 픽셀이 노이즈라고 판단되면 다음 픽셀에 대해 위 단계들을 수행하는 단계를 더 포함하는 에지 향상 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 에지 향상을 수행하는 단계는, 입력 이미지에 상기 에지값을 합산하는 단계를 포함하는 에지 향상 방법.
