Description

도 4는 밀링 커터 구성비율을 계산하는데 유용한 기호들을 포함하고, 단단한 모서리들이 구비된 밀링커터의 팁의 또 하나의 부분 정면도이며;
도 5는 특수한 이빨 간격을 가지는 실시예의 단부 이빨을 대면하는 단면도(end view)이며;
도 6은 오일 도관이 구비된 밀링 커터의 바람직한 실시예의 정면도이며;
도 7은 선행기술의 밀링 커터들과 본 발명에 따라 제작된 밀링 커터들의 시험들과 관련된 시험조건표이며;
도 8은 상기 시험 결과들의 도면이며;
도 9는 또한 마모의 중간치를 제공하는 막대 그래프이며;

Claims (18)
- 절삭부에 인접한 생크부를 가진 정면 밀링 커터로서, 상기 절삭부는 상기 정면 밀링 커터의 중심축으로부터 반경방향으로 연장된 다수의 절삭날들로 끝을 이루며, 상기 절삭날들은 적어도 그들 길이의 일부분을 따라 굽어 있고, 상기 중심축에 근접한 절삭날들의 부분은 생크부로부터 가장 먼 절삭날 상의 지점(X)보다 생크부에 대해 축방향으로 더 가까우며, 상기 중심축과 지점(X) 사이의 거리(Y)는 정면 밀링 커터의 직경(D)의 20% 내지 40% 사이이고, 축방향에서 생크부로부터 가장 먼 지점(X)과 반경방향에서 정면 밀링 커터의 축(CL)으로부터 가장 먼 지점을 연결하는 곡선의 반경(R2)은 직경(D)의 5% 내지 15% 사이의 범위 내에 있는, 정면 밀링 커터.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 직경(D)은 5mm 내지 51mm 사이의 범위 안에 있는, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
절삭날들의 부분은 제1 재료로 만들어지고, 생크부의 부분은 제2 재료로 만들어지며, 제1 재료는 제2 재료의 경도(hardness)보다 더 큰 경도를 갖는, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제3항에 있어서,
제1 재료는 축방향에서 정면 밀링 커터의 외측 표면을 따라서 직경(D)의 70% 내지 180% 의 거리만큼 연장된, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
정면 밀링 커터는, 상기 생크부와 상기 절삭부의 부분을 통하여 상기 절삭날들에 근접한 적어도 하나의 출구까지 연장된 냉각재 도관을 더 포함하는, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
제1 절삭날과 인접한 제2 절삭날 사이의 반경방향 각도 간격은, 제2 절삭날과 인접한 제3 절삭날 사이의 각도 간격과 같지 않은, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
직경(D)에서 절삭날로부터 연장된 접선과 반경방향 직선 사이의 각도(C)는 15도보다 큰, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
직경(D)과 지점(X) 사이의 축방향 거리(Z)는 직경(D)의 2% 내지 9% 사이인, 정면 밀링 커터. - 제1항에 있어서,
