Abstract
Description
도 3은 인터페이스 정의를 나타내며 eNB간 직접적 연결은 X2 인터페이스를 통해서 이루어지며, eNB와 MME간 인터페이스는 S1 인터페이스로 구성된다.
도 4는 S1 메시지를 이용하여 핸드오버를 하는 절차를 나타낸다.
도 5는 eNB Status Transfer 메시지 및 MME Status Transfer 메시지에 상/하향링크로 전송하는 과정을 도시하고 있다.
도 6은 X2 메시지를 이용하여 핸드오버를 하는 절차를 나타낸다.
도 7은 SN Status Transfer 절차를 도시하고 있다.
도 8은 또다른 실시예에 따른 도 1 내지 도 7의 eNB(120)/LGW(145) 및 MME의 구성 블록도이다.

X2 및 S1 핸드오버 메시지를 이용해서 eNodeB간 핸드오버시 ROHC Context헤더 정보를 헤더 압축된 패킷으로 전달하여 ROHC가 핸드오버 후에도 연속적으로 동작하는 단계를 포함하는 LTE 시스템에서 기지국간 헤더압축(ROHC)의 연속적 서비스 제공 방법
