Abstract
(해결수단) 터보차져(2)를 구비한 엔진(4)의 배기 매니폴드(3)내에, 엔진(4)의 배기포트(4a)로부터 배출된 배기가스를 집합하는 배기실(5)과, 내부에 탈초촉매가 배치된 촉매관(7)이 복수 설치되고, 상기 배기가스를 촉매관(7)의 내부에서 상기 탈초촉매와 접촉시켜서 배기가스중의 NOx를 분해하는 촉매반응부(8)를 연속 배치한 배기가스 정화장치(1)이다. 촉매반응부(8)에 이르기 전의 배기가스중에 요소수 등을 분무 가능한 노즐(6)을 설치한다.
(효과) 기화된 환원제를 포함하는 배기가스를 고온의 상태 그대로 탈초촉매와 접촉시키므로, 리히팅 버너는 불필요 하게 된다. 환원제 전구체 등은 배기실내에서 고온의 배기가스와 혼합되어서 단시간에 기화 또는 가수분해 되므로 증발관도 불필요 하게 된다.

Claims (6)
- 터보차져(turbo charger)를 구비한 엔진의 배기 매니폴드(排氣manifold)내에,
엔진의 배기포트(排氣port)로부터 배출된 배기가스를 집합하는 배기실과,
내부에 탈초촉매(脫硝觸媒)가 배치된 촉매관(觸媒管)이 복수 설치되고, 상기 배기가스를 상기 촉매관의 내부에서 상기 탈초촉매와 접촉시켜서 배기가스중의 NOx을 분해하는 촉매반응부를
연속적으로 배치함과 아울러
상기 촉매반응부에 이르기 전의 배기가스중에, 환원제(還元劑), 환원제 전구체(還元劑 前驅體)의 쌍방 또는 어느 일방을 포함하는 수용액을 분무(噴霧) 가능한 노즐을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 촉매관으로부터 배출된 배기가스를 터보차져의 터빈의 상류측으로 인도하는 배기통로(排氣通路)에 더하여, 상기 촉매관을 바이패스(bypass) 하여 상기 배기실과 상기 터빈의 상류측 사이를 접속하는 바이패스 통로를 더 설치함과 아울러 상기 배기통로와 상기 바이패스 통로를 각각 개폐(開閉)하는 밸브를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,
급기 매니폴드(給氣manifold)와 상기 촉매관의 출구측 사이를 접속하는 공기유입통로(空氣流入通路)를 설치함과 아울러, 상기 공기유입통로를 개폐하는 밸브를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
상기 배기포트로부터 상기 배기실로 배출된 배기가스가 상기 촉매관의 외주면을 돌아가도록, 상기 촉매반응부의 일부를 상기 배기실과 통하게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
상기 노즐은 상기 배기실에 설치함과 아울러 기화한 환원제를 배기가스중에 확산시키기 위하여 상기 배기실과 상기 촉매반응부 사이에 확산실을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 노즐은 상기 배기실에 설치함과 아울러 기화한 환원제를 배기가스중에 확산시키기 위하여 상기 배기실과 상기 촉매반응부 사이에 확산실을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화장치.
