도 2a와 도 2b는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 액티브 리타더 패널의 단면도로서 각각 전압 오프상태와 전압 온 상태를 각각 나타낸 도면.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 액티브 리타더 패널을 구비한 3D 영상 구현 시스템에 대한 간략한 입체 사시도.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 액티브 리타더 패널을 구비한 3D 영상 구현 시스템에 대한 간략한 단면도.
도 5a 내지 도 5c는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 액티브 리타더 패널의 제조 단계별 공정 단면도.

Claims (6)
- 서로 마주하는 제 1 필름 및 제 2 필름과;
상기 제 1 및 제 2 필름 사이에 개재되며, 광 배향 및 광 경화 특성을 갖는 고분자 물질로 이루어지며 상기 고분자 물질이 일 방향으로 배열된 고분자층과, 상기 고분자층 내부에 분산된 다수의 액정 방울
을 포함하며, 상기 다수의 각 액정 방울은 다수의 액정 분자를 포함하며 상기 다수의 각 액정분자는 상기 고분자층이 배열된 동일한 방향으로 배열된 것이 특징인 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 필름과 제 2 필름 내측면에는 각각 상기 고분자층과 접촉하며 투명한 제 1 및 제 2 전극이 형성되거나,
또는, 상기 제 1 필름 또는 제 2 필름 중 어느 하나의 필름의 내측면에 서로 교대하는 형태로 투명한 제 1 및 제 2 전극이 형성된 것이 특징인 패널.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 고분자층과 이의 내부에 분산된 다수의 액정 방울은 위상 변환층을 이루며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 전극에 전압이 인가되는 경우, 상기 다수의 액정 방울 내의 액정분자는 그 배열 방향이 바뀜으로서 상기 위상 변환층을 통과하는 빛의 위상을 변경시키는 것이 특징인 패널.
- 액정패널과, 상기 액정패널의 제 1 외측면에 형성된 제 1 편광판과, 타 외측면에 형성된 제 2 편광판 및 상기 제 1 편광판 외측면에 구비된 백라이트 유닛으로 구성된 액정표시장치와;
상기 제 2 편광판 외측면에 부착되며, 서로 마주하는 제 1 필름 및 제 2 필름과, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 필름 사이에 개재되며, 광 배향 및 광 경화 특성을 갖는 고분자 물질로 이루어지며 상기 고분자 물질이 일 방향으로 배열된 고분자층과, 상기 고분자층 내부에 분산된 다수의 액정 방울을 포함하며, 상기 다수의 각 액정 방울은 다수의 액정 분자를 포함하며 상기 다수의 각 액정분자는 상기 고분자층이 배열된 동일한 방향으로 배열된 것이 특징인 패널과;
편광필름이 부착된 편광안경
을 포함하는 3D 영상 구현 시스템.
- 제 1 필름 상에 광경화 및 광배향 특성을 갖는 고분자 물질과 액정이 혼합된 용액을 도포하여 고분자 액정 물질층을 형성하는 단계와;
상기 고분자 액정 물질층에 대해 선편광된 UV광을 조사함으로써 상기 고분자 액정 물질층 내부에 고분자 물질을 일 방향으로 배열되도록 하며 동시에 경화시켜고, 상기 액정이 분산되어 다수의 액정 방울을 이루며 동시에 상기 액정 방울 내부의 다수의 액정분자는 상기 고분자 물질이 배열된 동일한 방향으로 배열되도록 하는 단계와;
제 2 필름을 상기 고분자층과 접촉하도록 부착하는 단계
를 포함하는 패널 제조 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 필름 상에 투명한 제 1 전극을 형성하고, 상기 제 2 필름 내측면에 투명한 제 2 전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하거나,
또는, 상기 제 1 필름 또는 제 2 필름 중 어느 하나의 필름의 내측면에 서로 교대하는 형태로 투명한 제 1 및 제 2 전극을 형성하는 단계
를 포함하는 패널 제조 방법.
