Claims (6)
- 엔진으로부터 배기 통로에 배출된 배기 가스 중의 PM(particulate matter)을 포집하는 DPF(diesel particulate filtet)와, 상기 DPF의 PM 퇴적 상태를 복수의 평가 지표에 근거하여 복수의 평가 스테이지로 랭크별 분류하는 PM 퇴적 상태 평가 수단을 구비하고, 상기 PM 퇴적 상태 평가 수단은 현재의 평가 스테이지를 판단하는 현재 스테이지 판단 수단과, 상기 복수의 평가 지표 중 소정수의 평가 지표가 임계치를 상회한 경우에, 현재의 평가 스테이지를 다음 랭크의 평가 스테이지로 랭크업하는 평가 스테이지 판정 수단을 포함하고, 상기 현재 스테이지 판단 수단에 의한 현재의 평가 스테이지의 판단과, 상기 평가 스테이지 판정 수단에 의한 현재의 평가 스테이지의 랭크업의 검토가 반복하여 행해지도록 구성된 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템에 있어서,
상기 PM 퇴적 상태 평가 수단은 상기 복수의 평가 지표를 산출하기 위해 이용되는 각종 센서의 이상을 검지하는 이상 검지 수단과, 상기 이상 검지 수단에 의해 이상이 검지된 센서는 이용하지 않고서 현재의 평가 스테이지를 재판정하는 현재 스테이지 재판정 수단을 갖고 있고,
상기 이상 검지 수단에 의해 상기 각종 센서의 이상이 검지된 경우에는, 상기 현재 스테이지 판단 수단에 의해 판단된 현재의 평가 스테이지 대신에, 상기 현재 스테이지 재판정 수단에 의해, 그 이상이 검지된 센서의 출력치를 바탕으로 하는 평가 지표는 이용하지 않고서, 그 이외의 평가 지표를 이용하여 현재의 평가 스테이지를 새롭게 재판정하는
것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 이상 검지 수단에 의해 상기 각종 센서 중 하나인 급기 유량계에 이상이 검지된 경우에는, 상기 현재 스테이지 재판정 수단에 의해, 그 이상이 검지된 급기 유량계에서 측정된 급기 유량 대신에, 대체 수단에 의해 산출된 급기 유량을 바탕으로 하여 평가 지표를 산출하고, 그 평가 지표와, 그 이외의 평가 지표를 이용하여 현재의 평가 스테이지를 새롭게 재판정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 이상 검지 수단에 의해 상기 각종 센서의 이상이 검지된 경우에는, 그 이상이 검지된 센서의 출력치를 바탕으로 하는 평가 지표는 이용하지 않고서, 그 이외의 평가 지표를 이용하여 상기 평가 스테이지 판정 수단에 의한 현재의 평가 스테이지의 랭크업의 검토가 행해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 이상 검지 수단에 의해 상기 각종 센서 중 하나인 급기 유량계에 이상이 검지된 경우에는, 그 이상이 검지된 급기 유량계에서 측정된 급기 유량 대신에, 대체 수단에 의해 산출된 급기 유량을 바탕으로 하여 평가 지표를 산출하고, 그 평가 지표와, 그 이외의 평가 지표를 이용하여 상기 평가 스테이지 판정 수단에 의한 현재의 평가 스테이지의 랭크업의 검토가 행해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 대체 수단은 상기 엔진의 상류측에 접속되어 있는 급기 매니폴드부의 압력 및 온도를 측정하는 압력ㆍ온도 측정 수단과, 그 측정된 압력 및 온도로부터 급기 유량을 산출하는 급기 유량 산출 수단으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 대체 수단은 상기 엔진의 엔진 회전수 및 연료 분사량을 산출하는 회전수ㆍ분사량 산출 수단과, 상기 내연 기관의 엔진 회전수 및 연료 분사량과 급기 유량의 관계로 이루어지는 맵으로부터 급기 유량을 산출하는 급기 유량 산출 수단으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 시스템.
