Claims (15)
- 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스로부터 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 사용자와 관련 있는 것으로 결정된 정보에 대한 파라미터리스 검색 요청(parameterless search request)을, 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 수신하는 단계와;
상기 파라미터리스 검색 요청의 수신에 응답하여, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 콘텍스트(context)에 적어도 부분적으로 근거하여, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 사용자와 관련 있는 것으로 결정된 하나 이상의 결과를 식별하는 단계와; 그리고
상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스로 상기 하나 이상의 결과를 전송하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 콘텍스트는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스에 관한 이전의 위치 정보를 포함하며, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 이전의 위치 정보에 기초하여 결정된 위치로의 경로와 관련된 교통 상황(traffic condition) 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 파라미터리스 검색 요청의 수신에 응답하여, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 콘텍스트를, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 콘텍스트는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 현재의 지리적 위치를 포함하며,
상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 현재의 지리적 위치의 임계 거리(threshold distance) 내에 위치된 하나 이상의 엔티티(entity)에 관한 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 현재 콘텍스트는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스가 이동하고 있는 현재 속도를 포함하며,
상기 현재 속도가 임계 속도를 초과하는 것으로 결정됨에 응답하여, 상기 경로에 대한 상기 교통 상황 정보를, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 식별하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 콘텍스트는 상기 사용자와 관련된 하나 이상의 카렌다 약속들(calendar appointments)을 포함하며,
상기 하나 이상의 카렌다 약속들 중 적어도 하나가 현재 시각(time of day) 및 현재 날짜의 임계 기간(threshold period of time) 내에 발생한 것으로 결정됨에 응답하여, 상기 하나 이상의 카렌다 약속들 중 상기 적어도 하나에 관한 정보를, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 식별하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 하나 이상의 카렌다 약속들 중 상기 적어도 하나에 관한 상기 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 현재 콘텍스트는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스 상에서의 상기 사용자의 최근의 활동을 포함하며,
상기 사용자의 상기 최근의 활동의 적어도 일부와 관련된 정보가 상기 사용자가 상기 최근의 활동의 상기 일부에 최종적으로 관여한 이후에 갱신됨에 응답하여, 상기 사용자의 상기 최근의 활동의 상기 적어도 일부와 관련된 상기 정보를, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 식별하는 단계를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 사용자의 상기 최근의 활동의 상기 적어도 일부와 관련된 상기 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 현재 콘텍스트에 적어도 부분적으로 근거하여 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 사용자와 관련 있을 것 같은 하나 이상의 결과 카테고리를 식별하는 단계를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 하나 이상의 결과 카테고리와 관련(association)되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 사용자가 상기 하나 이상의 결과 카테고리를 관련 있는 것으로 인지했는지 여부에 관한 표시(indication)를, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 수신하는 단계와;
상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 이전의 콘텍스트들과 관련된 상기 하나 이상의 결과의 부분을 선택하는 단계와, 상기 이전의 콘텍스트들은 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 콘텍스트에 대한 임계 정도의 유사성(threshold degree of similarity)을 갖는 것으로 결정되며; 그리고
상기 이전의 콘텍스트들과 관련된 상기 하나 이상의 결과의 상기 부분에 적어도 부분적으로 근거하여, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 상기 하나 이상의 결과 카테고리를 식별하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제7 항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 결과 카테고리는, 이동(travel) 카테고리, 지리적 근접 카테고리, 환경 카테고리, 최근 갱신된 정보 카테고리, 및 개인 정보 카테고리 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 사용자가 이전에 식별된 결과를 관련 있다고 식별되는 것으로 인지했는지 여부를 나타내는 제2 데이터를 검색(retrieving)하는 단계와, 상기 제2 데이터는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 이전의 콘텍스트들과 관련있으며; 그리고
상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 콘텍스트에 대한 임계 정도의 유사성을 갖는 것으로 결정된 상기 모바일 디바이스의 상기 이전의 콘텍스트들의 부분과 관련된, 상기 검색된 제2 데이터의 부분을 선택하는 단계를 더 포함하고,
상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 검색된 제2 데이터의 상기 선택된 부분에 근거하여 식별되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스가 입력을 수신함에 응답하여 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스로부터 상기 파라미터리스 검색 요청을 수신한 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템은, 적어도 부분적으로 상기 입력이 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스에 의해 수신된 방식에 근거하여, 상기 사용자에게 상기 하나 이상의 결과를 제공하는데 사용되도록 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 서브시스템을, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템에 의해, 선택하는 단계를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 선택된 서브시스템을 사용하여 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 시스템은 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스로부터 원거리에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.

- 컴퓨팅 시스템으로서,
모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 사용자와 관련 있는 것으로 결정된 정보에 대한 파라미터리스 검색 요청을 수신하는 입력 서브시스템;
상기 입력 서브시스템의 상기 파라미터리스 검색 요청 수신에 응답하여, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 콘텍스트(context)에 적어도 부분적으로 근거하여, 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 상기 사용자와 관련 있는 것으로 결정된 하나 이상의 결과를 식별하는 결과 식별 유닛(result identification unit); 그리고
상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스로 상기 하나 이상의 결과를 제공하는 출력 서브시스템을 포함하며,
상기 콘텍스트는 상기 모바일 컴퓨팅 디바이스에 관한 이전의 위치 정보를 포함하며, 상기 하나 이상의 결과는 상기 이전의 위치 정보에 기초하여 결정된 위치로의 경로와 관련된 교통 상황(traffic condition) 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
