Claims (3)
- 집적회로에 있어서,
다중-모드/다중-무선 접속 기술(Radio Access Technology; RAT) 능력 정보 - 상기 다중-모드/다중-RAT 능력 정보는 발전된 범용 이동 통신 시스템(Universal Mobile Telecommunication System; UMTS) 지상 무선 접속 네트워크(Evolved UMTS terrestrial radio access network; E-UTRAN)에 대한 지원과, UTRAN 및 E-UTRAN과 연관된 핸드오버에 대한 지원의 표시를 포함함 - 를 표시하는 제1 메시지를 생성하도록 구성된 회로;
제1 UTRAN 채널을 통한 UTRAN 기지국으로의 전송을 위해 송신기에게 상기 제1 메시지를 출력하도록 구성된 회로;
제2 UTRAN 채널을 통해 UTRAN 기지국으로부터 수신된 핸드오버 메시지를 수신기로부터 수신하도록 구성된 회로;
상기 핸드오버 메시지로부터 E-UTRAN과 연관된 제1 정보 - 상기 제1 정보는 E-UTRAN으로의 핸드오버와 연관된 주파수 대역 및 대역폭을 표시함 - 를 추출(extract)하도록 구성된 회로; 및
상기 핸드오버 메시지에 기초하여 E-UTRAN으로 핸드오버하도록 구성된 회로를 포함하는 집적회로. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 메시지는 지원되는 E-UTRAN 주파수 대역을 표시하는 것인, 집적회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 방송 제어 채널(broadcast control channel; BCCH)을 통해 E-UTRAN에 대한 측정들을 위한 대역폭 및 주파수를 표시하는 메시지를 상기 수신기로부터 수신하도록 구성된 회로를 더 포함하는, 집적회로.
