Abstract

Claims (28)
- 물품으로서, 상기 물품은,
(A) 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들) 및 추가 첨가제를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 조성물)로서, 상기 추가 첨가제는 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저(scavenger) 및 착색제로부터 선택되고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 10 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 25 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 50 ppm)의 상기 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 착색제를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 50 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 75 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 100 ppm)의 상기 착색제를 포함하고, 바람직하게는 상기 물품이 용기(container)용 프리폼인, 폴리머 조성물; 또는
(B) 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르, 폴리카보네이트 또는 폴리올레핀 조성물)을 포함하는 시트로서, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들)을 포함하고, 상기 시트는 적어도 0.3 m의 폭을 갖는 시트를 포함하는 물품. - 제1항에 있어서,
단락 (A) 및 (B) 둘 다에서 상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물은, 10.30 중량% 내지 20.65 중량%의 산소, 바람직하게는 15.00 중량% 내지 20.64 중량%의 산소, 더 바람직하게는 18.86 중량% 내지 20.64 중량%의 산소, 특히 19.4 중량% 내지 19.9 중량%의 산소를 포함하는 물품. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물 내에서 텅스텐의 중량% 및 산소의 중량%의 합이 적어도 97 중량%인 물품. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물이 적어도 99 중량%의 텅스텐 및 산소 모이어티(moieties)를 포함하는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물 내에서 텅스텐의 중량% 및 산소의 중량%의 합이 적어도 99 중량%이고, 상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물이 19.4 중량% 내지 19.9 중량%의 산소를 포함하는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품(특히, 상기 프리폼)의 적어도 95 중량%가 상기 폴리머 조성물(특히, 상기 폴리에스테르 조성물)로 이루어진 물품. - 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품(특히, 상기 프리폼)이 12 ppm 내지 100 ppm의 상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물을 포함하는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 프리폼이 12 g 내지 1200 g 범위의 중량을 가지며, 0.00009 g 내지 0.006 g의 상기 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물을 포함하고; 상기 시트가 1 g 내지 5 kg 범위의 중량을 갖는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 폴리머 조성물이 적어도 90 중량%의 폴리에스테르 폴리머를 포함하는 폴리에스테르 조성물인 물품. - 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들이 10 μm 미만 내지 0.1 μm 초과, 특히 0.5 μm 초과의 d50을 갖는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들 중 5 부피% 미만이 100 μm 초과의 입자 크기를 가지며; 상기 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들 중 75 부피% 초과가 0.40 μm 초과의 입자 크기를 갖는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품이 적어도 10 ppm 내지 100 ppm 미만의 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들을 포함하고, 상기 L*가 적어도 70인 물품. - 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품이 폴리에스테르 조성물을 포함하고, 상기 폴리에스테르 조성물은 98 중량% 초과(특히, 99 중량% 초과)의 폴리에스테르 폴리머 및 5 ppm 내지 150 ppm(특히, 20 ppm 내지 50 ppm)의 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들을 포함하고, 여기서 바람직하게는 상기 폴리에스테르 폴리머가 본질적으로(essentially) PET로 구성되고, 여기서 바람직하게는 상기 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들이 19.4 중량% 내지 19.9 중량%의 산소를 포함하는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 단락 (A)의 폴리머 조성물 내의 상기 추가 첨가제가 10 ppm 내지 1000 ppm의 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저 및 50 ppm 내지 4000 ppm의 착색제로부터 선택되는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 착색제가 블루 및 그린 착색제; 또는 프탈로시아닌, 안트라퀴논 및 무기안료로부터 선택되는 물품. - 제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품이 0.3 m 내지 2 m 범위의 폭을 갖는 시트이고; 선택적으로(optionally) 상기 시트의 두께가 50 μm 내지 10 mm 범위인 물품. - 제1항 내지 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 물품이 적어도 10개의 상기 물품을 포함하는 집합물(collection)의 일부분이고, 상기 집합물 내의 상기 모든 물품이 실질적으로(substantially) 동일한 물품. - 포장 용기 및 열성형(thermoformed) 물품으로부터 선택된 완성품(finished article)으로서, 상기 완성품은 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들) 및 추가 첨가제를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 조성물)을 포함하고, 상기 추가 첨가제는 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저 및 착색제로부터 선택되고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 10 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 25 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 50 ppm)의 상기 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 착색제를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 50 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 75 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 100 ppm)의 상기 착색제를 포함하고, 상기 완성품이 열성형 물품인 경우, 상기 열성형 물품은 50 μm 내지 10 mm의 두께를 갖는 재료를 포함하고, 상기 재료는 상기 폴리머 조성물을 포함하는 완성품.
- 제18항에 있어서,
상기 완성품은 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항의 물품으로부터 제조된 완성품. - 제18항 또는 제19항에 따른 완성품의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
(i) 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 물품을 선택하는 단계; 및
(ii) 상기 물품을 가열하고, 상기 물품을 블로우 성형하여 포장 용기를 제조하는 단계; 또는 상기 물품을 열성형하여 열성형 물품을 제조하는 단계를 포함하고, 여기서 바람직하게는 상기 방법이 적어도 50개의 상기 완성품을 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 완성품의 제조 방법. - 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 용기용 프리폼 또는 시트로부터 선택된 물품의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들) 및 추가 첨가제를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 조성물)을 열적으로 처리(thermally treating)하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 추가 첨가제는 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저 및 착색제로부터 선택되고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 10 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 25 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 50 ppm)의 상기 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 착색제를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 50 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 75 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 100 ppm)의 상기 착색제를 포함하는 물품의 제조 방법.
- 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 폴리머) 및/또는 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 조성물)을 포함하는 프리폼 또는 시트의 재가열(reheat) 특성을 개선하기 위한 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들)의 용도로서, 여기서,
(I) 상기 폴리머 조성물은 추가 첨가제를 포함하고, 상기 추가 첨가제는 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저 및 착색제로부터 선택되고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 10 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 25 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 50 ppm)의 상기 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 착색제를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 50 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 75 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 100 ppm)의 상기 착색제를 포함하거나; 또는
(II) 상기 폴리머 조성물이 적어도 0.3 m의 폭을 갖는 시트의 형태인 용도. - 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들) 및 추가 첨가제를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물(특히, 폴리에스테르 조성물)로서, 상기 추가 첨가제는 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저 및 착색제로부터 선택되고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 10 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 25 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 50 ppm)의 상기 아세트알데히드 스캐빈저를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머 조성물이 착색제를 포함하는 경우, 상기 폴리머 조성물은 적어도 50 ppm(적합하게는 적어도 75 ppm, 바람직하게는 적어도 100 ppm)의 상기 착색제를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물.
- 제23항에 따른 폴리에스테르 조성물의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
디카르복실산 디에스테르를 디올과 에스테르교환(transesterifying)하거나, 또는 디카르복실산을 디올과 직접 에스테르화(esterifying)하여 1종 이상의 폴리에스테르 모노머 또는 폴리에스테르 올리고머를 얻는 단계를 포함하는 에스테르화 단계(esterification step);
상기 1종 이상의 폴리에스테르 모노머 또는 폴리에스테르 올리고머를 중축합 촉매의 존재하에 중축합 반응에서 반응시켜 적합하게는 약 0.50 dL/g 내지 약 1.1 dL/g의 It.V.를 갖는 폴리에스테르 폴리머를 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 중축합 단계(polycondensation step);
상기 용융 폴리에스테르 폴리머를 입자들로 고화(solidified)시키는 입자화 단계(particulation step);
상기 고화 폴리머가 적합하게는 약 0.55 dL/g 내지 약 1.2 dL/g의 It.V.로 중합되는 선택적인 고체 상태화 단계(solid-stating step); 및
텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들을 첨가 및 분산시켜 상기 폴리에스테르 폴리머 내의 텅스텐 옥사이드의 분산물을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 입자 첨가 단계로서, 상기 입자 첨가 단계는 상기 선행 단계 이전, 상기 선행 단계 동안, 또는 상기 선행 단계 이후에 일어나고, 적어도 100 kg의 상기 폴리에스테르 조성물이 제조되는 입자 첨가 단계(particle addition step)를 포함하는 폴리에스테르 조성물의 제조 방법. - 폴리머(예를 들어, 폴리에스테르)와 혼화가능한(compatible) 캐리어(carrier), 및 상기 캐리어 내에 분산된 텅스텐 및 산소의 화합물(특히, 텅스텐 옥사이드 입자들) 를 포함하는 액체 배합물(formulation)로서, 적어도 1 리터의 상기 액체 배합물이 용기에 제공되는, 액체 배합물.
