Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 약 20 내지 약 50 중량%의 NCO 함량을 갖는 이소시아네이트 성분 5 내지 25 중량%,
폴리에스테르 75 내지 85 중량%, 및
약 40 내지 약 50의 OH가를 갖는 히드록시-중합체 1 내지 10 중량%
의 반응 생성물을 포함하는,
실온에서 고체인 핫 멜트 접착제. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 히드록시-중합체가 적어도 하나의 스티렌 단량체 및 적어도 하나의 아크릴레이트 단량체를 포함하는 단량체 조합의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 것인 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단량체 조합이 상기 적어도 하나의 아크릴레이트 단량체와 상이한 적어도 하나의 히드록시에틸아크릴레이트 단량체를 추가로 포함하는 것인 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 히드록시-중합체가 약 60℃ 내지 약 80℃의 유리 전이 온도 (Tg)를 갖는 것인 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 히드록시-중합체가 약 500 내지 약 15000의 수 평균 분자량 (Mn)을 갖는 것인 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르가 약 4000 미만의 수 평균 분자량 (Mn)을 갖는 것인 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
5 내지 20 중량%의 상기 이소시아네이트 성분,
76 내지 84 중량%의 상기 폴리에스테르, 및
2 내지 9 중량%의 상기 히드록시-중합체
의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 핫 멜트 접착제. - 제7항에 있어서,
5 내지 15 중량%의 상기 이소시아네이트 성분,
77 내지 83 중량%의 상기 폴리에스테르, 및
3 내지 8 중량%의 상기 히드록시-중합체
의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 핫 멜트 접착제. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 약 1 내지 약 5 중량%의 잔류 NCO 함량을 갖는 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 120℃에서 약 2500 내지 약 75000 cps (센티포아즈)의 용융 점도를 갖는 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 약 1500 내지 약 4000 psi (제곱 인치당 파운드)(또는 약 10 내지 약 28 MPa (메가파스칼))의 인장 강도를 갖는 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 약 250 내지 약 750%의 파단 신율을 갖는 핫 멜트 접착제.
- 제1 표면,
상기 제1 표면에 인접하여 배치된 제2 표면, 및
상기 제1 표면 및 제2 표면이 접착 층에 의해 접착 커플링되도록 상기 제1 표면과 제2 표면 사이에 배치된 접착 층
을 포함하고,
상기 접착 층은,
약 20 내지 약 50 중량%의 NCO 함량을 갖는 이소시아네이트 성분 5 내지 25 중량%,
폴리에스테르 75 내지 85 중량%, 및
약 40 내지 약 50의 OH가를 갖는 히드록시-중합체 1 내지 10 중량%
의 반응 생성물을 포함하는 핫 멜트 접착제로부터 형성된 것인
물품. - 제13항에 있어서,
i) 상기 접착 층이 상기 핫 멜트 접착제 및 물의 반응 생성물을 포함하거나,
ii) 상기 제1 표면 및 제2 표면 각각이 금속, 목재, 플라스틱 또는 그의 조합을 포함하거나, 또는
iii) i) 및 ii) 둘 다인
물품. - 약 20 내지 약 50 중량%의 NCO 함량을 갖는 이소시아네이트 성분을 제공하는 단계,
폴리에스테르를 제공하는 단계,
약 40 내지 약 50의 OH가를 갖는 히드록시-중합체를 제공하는 단계, 및
이소시아네이트 성분, 폴리에스테르 및 히드록시-중합체를 합하여, 5 내지 25 중량%의 이소시아네이트 성분, 75 내지 85 중량%의 폴리에스테르, 및 1 내지 10 중량%의 히드록시-중합체를 포함하는 핫 멜트 접착제를 형성하는 단계
를 포함하는, 실온에서 고체인 핫 멜트 접착제를 형성하는 방법. - 제15항에 있어서, 합하는 단계 전에 폴리에스테르 및 이소시아네이트 성분을 용융될 때까지 가열하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서, 반응 용기를 제공하는 단계를 추가로 포함하고, 합하는 단계가 이소시아네이트 성분, 폴리에스테르 및 히드록시-중합체를 반응 용기에 배치하여 핫 멜트 접착제를 형성하는 것으로서 추가로 정의되는 것인 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 폴리에스테르를 용기에 도입하기 전에 이소시아네이트 성분 및 히드록시-중합체를 용기에서 소정 기간 동안 반응시켜 반응 중간물을 형성하는 것인 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 히드록시-중합체를 용기에 도입하기 전에 이소시아네이트 성분 및 폴리에스테르를 용기에서 소정 기간 동안 반응시켜 반응 중간물을 형성하는 것인 방법.
- 제17항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 핫 멜트 접착제를 형성하는 동안 용기를 약 100℃ 내지 약 130℃의 온도에서 약 30 내지 약 180분 동안 유지시키는 것인 방법.
