Abstract
본 발명은 과산화 수소 함유 화합물과 광촉매 물질로서 이산화 티탄을 함유하는 조성물 중에서 과산화수소의 안정성과 광촉매 물질의 촉매 효과를 극대화하기 위해 비이온 계면활성제를 포함시킨 미백 조성물과 이를 사용하여 455nm의 엘이디 빛에 의한 치아 미백 방법에 관한 것이다.
Description
본 발명은 과산화 수소 함유 화합물과 광촉매 물질로서 이산화 티탄을 함유하는 조성물 중에서 과산화수소의 안정성과 광촉매 물질의 촉매 효과를 극대화시킨 치아 미백 조성물과 이를 사용한 455nm의 엘이디 빛에 의한 개인용 치아 미백 방법에 관한 것이다.
사람의 치아는 법랑질과 상아질이라는 두 개의 뼈 조직으로 돼 있으며 이중에서 법랑질은 상아질 보다 더 딱딱한 조직으로 돼있다. 이 법랑질은 아주 미세한 구멍으로 되어 있다.
어린 아이들의 치아는 성인들의 치아보다는 더 희다. 사람들이 나이가 듦에 따라서 치아조직의 미네랄에서의 변화로 인하여 조직이 음식물, 세균 등으로부터 생기는 염료의 영향으로 어두운 색상으로 변한다.
사람들은 누구나 하얀 치아를 가지기를 원하며 흰 치아는 심미적으로 굉장히 중요한 속성임은 누구나 잘 아는 사실이다.
치아가 누렇게 변하는 것은 여러 가지 원인이 있다. 대표적으로 음식물 등의 원인으로 입안에서 생성되는 세균막(프라그)에 의하여 법랑질의 미세한 구멍에서 색소에 의한 침착으로부터 발생된다.
이렇게 생성된 색소는 양치질과 스케일링으로는 제거할 수가 없으며 보통은 미백제가 치아조직 내부로 스며들게 만들어 색소를 분해하는 원리를 이용한다.
통상적으로 과산화물 등과 같은 미백 성분이 함유되어 있는 약제를 치아 표면에 도포하거나 미백 약제를 도포한 치아 표면을 열 또는 빛을 쬐어 반응을 촉진하기도 한다.
이때 사용하는 빛으로는 자외선, 적외선 등이 있으며 최근에는 LED(발광다이오드)를 활용하여 가시광선을 사용하기도 하고, 의사에 따라서 고주파 등의 전자파를 활용하는 경우도 있다.
빛을 사용하는 경우 과산화수소에 이산화티탄 등의 광 촉매를 포함시켜 처리하는 방법이 미국특허등록 6231343호 등에 기재되어 있다.
그러나, 치아 미백 성분으로 과산화물과 광 촉매물질을 사용하는 경우 여러 가지 상(相)에서 이온으로 해리되기 쉬운 물질들과의 반응으로 과산화수소의 이온 안전성이 떨어지기 마련이다.
따라서, 과산화물의 이온 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 여러 가지 시도가 있어왔으나 현재까지 충분한 성과를 얻기 어려웠다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 안정성이 우수한 치아 미백용 조성물을 제공하는 것이며, 아울러, 그 조성물을 사용한 치아 미백 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명자는 여러 가지의 시험을 통해서 이온으로 분리되지 않는 계면활성제로 비이온 계면 활성제 또는 비이온 표면 활성제라고 불리는 물질을 사용할 경우 이 물질이 궁극적으로는 과산화수소의 이온 안정화에 기여하여 미백 조성물을 안정화시킨다는 사실을 발견하여 본 발명을 완성하게 되었다.
본 발명에 의해 안정화된 미백 조성물로 적정 파장의 광원을 이용하여 미백효과를 극대화시킬 수 있다.

본 발명의 미백 조성물은 과산화물과 광촉매 및 비이온계 활성제를 포함한다.
본 발명에 사용하기에 바람직한 비이온계 계면활성제로는 물에 이온화되지 않고 용해되는 계면활성제로 폴리옥시 에틸 알킬 에테르 같은 소수성 단위체와 친수성 단위체와의 블록중합 또는 그래프트 중합에 의하여 합성된 고분자 활성제가 해당된다.
실제로 생활용품에 사용되는 비이온 계면활성제로는 폴리옥시 에틸렌 알킬 에테르, 폴리옥시 에틸렌 지방산 에스테르, 폴리옥시 에틸렌 알킬 페놀 에테르, 소르비탄 지방산 에스테르, 폴리옥시 에틸렌 소르비탄 지방산 에스테르, 자당 지방산 에스테르등의 합성고분자 계면 활성제이다.
구강용품에 유용한 소르비탄 모노라우레이트(Sorbitan Monolaurate), 소르비탄 모노 스테아레이트(Sorbitan Monostearate), 소르비탄 모노올레이트(Sorbitan Monooleate)등으로 SPAN20, SPAN60, SPAN80 등으로 불리는 비이온 계면활성제가 더욱 바람직하다.
또한 폴리옥시에틸렌 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트(Polyoxyethylene Sorbitan Monolaurate), 폴리옥시에틸렌 소르비탄 모노 스테아레이트(Polyoxyethylene Sorbitan Monostearate), 폴리옥시에틸렌 모노 올레이트(Polyoxyethylene Mono oleate)등, 즉 TWEEN20, TWEEN60, TWEEN80 등이 유용하다.
이들 성분은 구강에서도 안전성이 확보된 물질로 구강용품, 아이스크림, 제약 등에 사용이 가능하다.
실시 예 1-4 및 비교 예 1 (비이온 계면활성제 유무에 따른 과산화물의 안정성 시험)
하기 표 1의 조건으로 60도에서 가혹 실험을 하여 비이온 계면활성제 유무에 따른 과산화물의 안정성 시험을 실시하였다.

결과를 도 1에 게시하였다.
상기 실시예 1-4 및 비교예 1의 결과를 보면, 비이온 계면활성제인 TWEEN계와 SPAN계의 비이온 활성제를 사용하지 않은 약제에서 60도에서 가혹 실험을 한 결과 2주 이후 급격하게 과산화수소수의 안정성이 떨어지는 것으로 나타났으며, 비이온 계면활성제를 사용한 경우의 실험 결과 4주 후에도 안정성이 확보되는 것으로 나타났다.
실시 예 5-10(비이온 계면활성제 종류에 따른 과산화화합물의 안정성 시험)
하기 표 2의 조건으로 60도에서 가혹 실험을 하여 비이온 계면활성제 종류에 따른 과산화물의 안정성 시험을 실시하였다.

분자량에 따른 과산화수소수의 안정성을 확인하기 위한 60도 가혹시험에서 2주차까지는 TWEEN80, SPAN80, 즉 폴리옥시에틸렌 소르비탄 모노라우레이트 (Polyoxyethylene Sorbitan Monolaurate) 나 소르비탄 모노라우레이트 (Sorbitan Monolaurate) 수준으로 안정하나 3주차부터는 급격하게 안정성이 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다.
상기 실시 예에서 알 수 있는 바와 같이, 과산화 화합물, 특히 과산화수소와 광 촉매 물질을 사용하는 개인용 치아미백시스템에서 과산화수소의 안정성을 개선하기 위하여, 비이온성 계면활성제, 특히 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트, 즉 SPAN 80이나 폴리옥시에틸렌 소르비탄 모노라우레이트, 즉 TWEEN80을 사용하는 것이 특히 바람직하다.
비이온성 계면활성제, 특히 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트, 즉 SPAN 80과 폴리옥시 에틸렌 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트, 즉 TWEEN80은 2중량% 이하, 특히 0.5~2.0 중량%의 양으로 부가되어 광 촉매물질과 과산화화합물을 동시에 사용하는 데 있어서 과산화화합물의 이온 안정성을 확보한다.
실시예 11- 20
엘이디 광선조사기로서 415nm, 420nm, 425nm, 430nm, 435nm, 440nm, 445nm, 450nm, 455nm, 460nm, 465nm 파장영역을 가지며 3와트, 5와트, 7와트의 전기밝기를 갖는 장치를 각각 만들어 상기 실시 예 1의 약제를 치아표면과 유사한 하이드록시 아파타이트에 인공 스테인을 도포하여 제작한 시편에 각각 적당량 바른 후 5분 간격으로 빛을 조사하는 방법으로 반복시험하여 결과를 육안과 색도 차에 의한 방법으로 측정하였다. 그 결과 445nm의 광원을 조사하는 경우 가장 미백효과가 우수하였다.
본 발명의 치아미백 조성물은 455nm의 파장을 갖는 개인용 광선 조사기와 함께 사용하는 경우 탁월한 미백 효능을 나타낸다.

- 과산화물, 광촉매 및 비이온 계면활성제를 포함하는 치아 미백용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 과산화물은 과산화수소이고 광촉매는 이산화 티탄인 것을 특징으로 하는 치아미백용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 비이온 계면활성제는 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트 및 폴리옥시 에틸렌 소르비탄 모노 라우레이트로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 치아미백용 조성물.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중의 어느 한 항의 조성물을 치아에 도포하고 445nm 파장의 광원을 조사하는 것으로 이루어지는 치아 미백 방법.
