Claims (10)
- 메틸 메르캅탄의, 배치식 또는 연속식, 바람직하게는 연속식 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은 적어도 하기 단계들을 포함하는 방법:
a) 황화수소 (H2S) 및 임의로 황 (S) 존재 하에서의 하나 이상의 탄화수소 공급원료의 반응에 의해, 이황화탄소 (CS2) 및 수소 (H2) 를 형성하는 단계,
b) 단계 a) 에서 수득된 상기 수소 (H2) 존재 하에서의 단계 a) 에서 수득된 상기 이황화탄소 (CS2) 의 수소첨가 반응에 의해, 메틸 메르캅탄 (CH3SH), 황화수소 (H2S) 및 임의로 수소 (H2) 를 형성하는 단계,
c) 임의로, 단계 b) 에서 형성된 상기 황화수소 (H2S) 를 단계 a) 로 재순환시키는 단계, 및
d) 메틸 메르캅탄을 회수하는 단계. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 공급원료가 기체, 액체 또는 고체 형태, 바람직하게는 기체 또는 액체 형태, 더욱 바람직하게는 기체 형태의 탄화수소 공급원료이고, 포화 또는 불포화된 선형, 분지형 또는 고리형의 탄화수소 사슬을 갖는 탄화수소를 하나 이상 포함하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 공급원료가 하나 이상의 알칸, 바람직하게는 적어도 메탄 (CH4), 에탄, 프로판 또는 부탄을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 공급원료가 메탄인 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 b) 에서 형성된 황화수소가 단계 a) 로 재순환되는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 b) 에서 임의로 형성된 수소가 황과 반응하여 황화수소를 형성할 수 있는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, H2S/탄화수소 공급원료의 몰비가 0 내지 약 100, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 10 및 더욱 바람직하게는 1 내지 3 (양 끝점들 포함) 인 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 a) 에서의 반응 온도가 유리하게는 500℃ 내지 1300℃, 바람직하게는 700℃ 내지 1100℃, 더욱 바람직하게는 800℃ 내지 1000℃ 인 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 b) 에서의 반응 온도가 100℃ 내지 400℃ 및 바람직하게는 200℃ 내지 300℃ 인 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 메틸 메르캅탄이 황과 반응하여 디메틸 디술피드를 형성하는 방법.
