Claims (15)
- a) 하나 이상의 하기 화학식 I의 화합물; 및
b) 하기 화학식 II 및 III의 화합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물
을 포함하는 액정 매질:
상기 식에서,
a, b 및 c는 서로 독립적으로 0 또는 1의 정수이되,
(a + b + c)는 1, 2 또는 3이고,
R11 및 R12는 서로 독립적으로 H, 또는 1 내지 5개의 C 원자를 갖는 알킬이고,
R21은 1 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알킬 라디칼, 2 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알켄일 라디칼, 또는 1 내지 6개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알콕시 라디칼이고,
R22는 1 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알킬 라디칼, 1 내지 6개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알콕시 라디칼, 또는 2 내지 6개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알켄일옥시 라디칼이고,
l은 0 또는 1이고,
R31은 1 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알킬 라디칼, 또는 2 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알켄일 라디칼이고,
R32는 1 내지 7개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알킬 라디칼, 1 내지 6개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알콕시 라디칼, 또는 2 내지 6개의 C 원자를 갖는 치환되지 않은 알켄일옥시 라디칼이고,
는 이다. - 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
전체 매질 내 화학식 I의 화합물의 총 농도가 5% 이상 내지 35% 이하인, 액정 매질. - 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
전체 매질 내 화학식 II의 화합물의 총 농도가 25% 이상 내지 45% 이하인, 액정 매질. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
하나 이상의 키랄 화합물을 추가로 포함하는 액정 매질. - 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 액정 매질을 포함하는 전광 디스플레이 또는 전광 소자.
- 제10항에 있어서,
VA, ECB, IPS 또는 FFS 모드에 기초하는 디스플레이. - 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서,
능동 매트릭스 어드레싱 장치를 포함하는 디스플레이. - 전광 디스플레이 또는 전광 소자에서 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 액정 매질의 용도.
- 제10항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
이동식 디스플레이인 디스플레이. - 하나 이상의 화학식 I의 화합물을 하나 이상의 화학식 II의 화합물 및/또는 화학식 III, IV 및 V의 화합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물과 혼합하는 단계를 포함하는, 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 액정 매질의 제조 방법.
