Claims (20)
- 고형물(solid)을 포함하는 사이즈 프레스 포뮬레이션(size press formulation)으로서, 고형물이 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드 화합물(polyaluminum chloride compound; PAC) 및 전분을 포함하는 사이즈 프레스 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 고형물이 광증백제(optical brightening agent)를 추가로 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 고형물이 염을 추가로 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 물을 추가로 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 포뮬레이션이 약 10 중량% 내지 약 15 중량%의 고형물을 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 고형물이 약 80 중량% 이상의 전분, 약 10 중량% 내지 약 15 중량%의 염, 및 약 5 중량% 내지 약 10 중량%의 광증백제를 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 고형물이 약 5 중량% 내지 약 20 중량%의 PAC를 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 포뮬레이션의 pH가 약 3 내지 약 8인 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, PAC가 포스페이트화된 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 설페이트화된 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 폴리알루미늄 실리카 설페이트 클로라이드, 및 이들의 임의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, PAC가 포스페이트화된 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드인 포뮬레이션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 고형물이 약 10 중량%의 PAC를 포함하는 포뮬레이션.
- PAC 및 전분을 포함하는 건조된 기재 표면(dried substrate surface).
- 제12항에 있어서, 기재가 페이퍼(paper)인 건조된 기재 표면.
- 제12항에 있어서, 광증백제를 추가로 포함하는 건조된 기재 표면.
- 제12항에 있어서, 염을 추가로 포함하는 건조된 기재 표면.
- 제12항에 있어서, PAC가 포스페이트화된 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 설페이트화된 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드, 폴리알루미늄 실리카 설페이트 클로라이드, 및 이들의 임의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 건조된 기재 표면.
- 기재 표면에 고형물을 포함하는 사이즈 프레스 포뮬레이션을 부가하는 것을 포함하는 기재 표면을 처리하는 방법으로서, 고형물이 PAC 및 전분을 포함하는 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 고형물이 약 80 중량% 이상의 전분 및 약 5 중량% 내지 약 20 중량%의 PAC를 포함하는 방법.
