Claims (9)
- (1) 1,4-사이클로헥산디메탄올 제조시 발생되는 부산물을 산 또는 알칼리 촉매의 존재 하에 메탄올과 반응시켜 1,4-사이클로헥산디메탄올, 메틸 4-(하이드록시메틸)사이클로헥산카복실레이트, 디메틸 1,4-사이클로헥산디카복실레이트 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 반응 생성물을 수득하는 단계;
(2) 고체 중화제를 이용하여 상기 반응 생성물의 pH를 6 내지 8로 조절하는 단계; 및
(3) 상기 중화된 반응 생성물을 증류하는 단계를
포함하는, 1,4-사이클로헥산디메탄올 제조시 발생되는 부산물로부터 1,4-사이클로헥산디메탄올, 메틸 4-(하이드록시메틸)사이클로헥산카복실레이트, 디메틸 1,4-사이클로헥산디카복실레이트 또는 이들의 혼합물을 회수하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
단계 (2)의 고체 중화제가 고체 분말이고, 상기 반응 생성물을 고체 중화제 분말층이 형성된 다공성 지지체를 통과시켜 상기 단계 (2)를 수행하는, 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서,
단계 (2)의 고체 중화제가 산성백토, 활성백토, 제올라이트, 알루미나, 실리카알루미나 및 실리카마그네시아로부터 선택되는 어느 하나의 고체 산 중화제인, 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서,
단계 (2)의 고체 중화제가 금속수산화물, 칼슘화합물, 마그네슘화합물, 바륨화합물 및 수산화암모늄으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 어느 하나의 고체 염기 중화제인, 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서,
단계 (2)의 고체 중화제가 반응 생성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20 중량%의 양으로 사용되는, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
단계 (1)의 산 촉매가 황산, 염산, 질산, 인산 및 초산으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 어느 하나인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
단계 (1)의 알칼리 촉매가 금속 알콕시화물(metal alkoxide), 금속 수산화물(metal hydroxide) 또는 알칼리 토금속의 수산염인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
단계 (1)의 촉매가 부산물의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 10 중량%의 양으로 사용되는, 방법.
