Abstract
Description
도 1은 본 발명의 구체예에 따른 다양한 염기도의 염화알루미늄의 제조방법의 흐름도이다.
도 2는 도 1의 방법에 따른 다양한 염기도의 염화알루미늄 수화물의 제조 시스템의 한 구체예의 개략적 표현이다.
도 3은 밀링(제1피크), 분무 건조(제2피크)에 의해, 또는 유동층 건조기(제3피크)를 이용하여 제조된 염화알루미늄 입자의 입자 크기 분포 분석의 결과를 도시하는 그래프(A)이다. 입자 크기 분포의 수치를 보여 주는 표(B)도 도시한다. 밀링에 의해 제조된 염화알루미늄 입자는 본 발명의 구체예에 따라 제조되었고, 약 83%의 염기도를 갖는다. 분무 건조에 의해 제조된 입자는 종래기술의 방법에 의해 제조되었다. 유사하게, 유동층 건조기를 이용하여 제조된 입자는 종래기술의 방법에 의해 제조되었다.

Claims (26)
- 파쇄된 결정 형태이고, 50% 내지 약 85.6% 범위의 염기도 및 레이저 회절로 측정시 295 내지 705m2/kg의 표면적 대 중량비를 갖는 알루미늄 염화수화물(aluminum chlorohydrate)의 입자를 포함하는 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 평균(mean) 입자 크기는 약 10 내지 약 15마이크론의 범위인 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 염기도는 약 83%이고 표면적 대 중량비는 약 575 내지 약 700m2/kg의 범위인 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 염기도는 약 85%인 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 염기도는 약 72%인 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 염기도는 약 50%인 알루미늄 염화수화물 생성물.
- 고온 기체 스트림을 원형 밀(mill)에 가하여 일정 온도에서 밀 내부에 순환(circulating) 기체 스트림을 확립 및 유지하는 것;
염화알루미늄 6수화물 결정을 원형 밀에 공급하여, 알루미늄 염화수화물 입자를 형성하고 얻어진 입자를 입자 밀도에 기초하여 분리하되, 상기 입자는 상기 일정 온도의 함수인 염기도를 갖는 것; 및
입자가 원형 밀을 나올 때 건조된 알루미늄 염화수화물 입자를 수집하는 것을 포함하는, 원하는 염기도의 염화알루미늄 수화물(aluminum chloride hydrate) 입자를 제조하는 방법. - 제7항에 있어서, 상기 일정 온도는 200℉ 및 400℉ 사이인 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 밀로부터 수집되는 건조된 입자는 0 내지 85.6%의 염기도 범위를 갖는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 일정 온도는 220 및 240℉ 사이인 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 수집되는 건조된 입자는 Al2Cl6을 포함하고 0 내지 5%의 염기도를 갖는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 일정 온도는 260 및 280℉ 사이인 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 수집되는 건조된 입자는 Al2(OH)Cl5을 포함하고 14 내지 18%의 염기도를 갖는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 일정 온도는 300 및 310℉ 사이인 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 수집되는 건조된 입자는 Al2(OH)2Cl4을 포함하고 31 내지 35%의 염기도를 갖는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 일정 온도는 340 및 350℉ 사이인 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서, 수집되는 건조된 입자는 Al2(OH)3Cl3을 포함하고 38 내지 52%의 염기도를 갖는 방법.
