Claims (3)
- 서플라이 밸브, 바이패스 밸브, 노즐, 웹 리프터와, 상기 서플라이 밸브, 상기 바이패스 밸브 및 상기 노즐을 제어하기 위한 콘트롤러를 포함하는 시스템을 사용하여 웹에 코팅을 도포하는 방법으로서,
상기 서플라이 밸브가 개폐되는 상기 웹상의 기준 위치들을 상기 콘트롤러에 입력하는 단계;
상기 바이패스 밸브가 개폐되는 상기 웹상의 기준 위치들을 상기 콘트롤러에 입력하는 단계;
상기 노즐을 향해 그로부터 이격되도록 상기 웹을 이동시키기 위해 상기 웹 리프터가 작동되도록 상기 웹 상의 기준 위치들을 상기 콘트롤러에 입력하는 단계;
상기 노즐 뒤로 상기 웹을 이동시키는 단계;
상기 웹의 위치를 추적하는 단계; 및
상기 웹상에 상기 코팅을 퇴적하도록 상기 입력된 기준 위치들에 기초하여 상기 서플라이 밸브, 상기 바이패스 밸브, 상기 노즐 및 상기 웹 리프터를 제어하도록 상기 콘트롤러를 사용하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 주행 웹의 위치를 안내하고 평탄화하기 위한 웹 스태빌라이저 장치로서,
상기 장치의 리딩 에지를 한정하는 제1 부분과 상기 장치의 트레일링 에지를 한정하는 제2 부분을 갖고, 상기 제1 부분은 본체에 대한 부압의 인가에 따라 공기의 유입에 대해 상기 부분들 간에 공기 입구 슬롯을 한정하도록 제2 부분과 이격되는, 본체: 및 상기 슬롯에 유입하는 공기를 수용하기 위해 상기 본체와 유체 연통하는 진공 원을 포함하고, 인가된 부압은 상기 웹을 상기 장치의 표면과 접촉하여 위치시키는, 웹 스태빌라이저 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 노즐은 배출 립들을 갖고, 또한, 유체 변위 기구를 제공하는 단계; 상기 유체 변위 기구를 갖는 노즐의 배출 립들로부터 코팅 유체를 일시적으로 철수시킨 다음, 콘트롤러로부터의 지시에 따라 유체 변위 기구의 작동에 의해 코팅 유체를 상기 노즐의 배출 립들로 되돌리는 단계를 더 포함하는, 방법.
