Abstract
대향하는 양극과 음극의 사이에 발광층을 포함하는 유기 전계발광 소자에 있어서, 발광층이 호스트 재료와 발광성 도펀트 재료를 함유하고, 호스트 재료가 인돌로카르바졸환의 2개의 질소에 방향족 탄화수소기 또는 방향족 복소환기가 치환한 구조를 갖는 화합물에서 선택되는 2종류 이상의 화합물을 예비혼합한 재료이며, 예비혼합한 호스트 재료와 발광성 도펀트 재료를 공진공 증착해서 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (7)
- 대향하는 양극과 음극의 사이에 1개 이상의 발광층을 포함하는 유기 전계발광 소자에 있어서, 진공증착에 의해 제작되는 적어도 1개의 발광층은 하기 일반식(1)으로 나타내어지는 화합물에서 선택되는 2종류 이상의 화합물을 예비혼합한 호스트 재료와 발광성 도펀트 재료를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자.
(여기에서, Z는 일반식(2)으로 나타내어지는 인돌로카르바졸환 함유기이며, 환 A는 식(2a)으로 나타내어지는 방향족 탄화수소환이며, 환 B는 식(2b)으로 나타내어지는 복소환이며, 환 A 및 환 B는 각각 인접하는 환과 축합한다.
L1과 L2는 독립적으로 탄소수 6∼30의 방향족 탄화수소기 또는 탄소수 3∼18의 방향족 복소환기이며, Ar1과 Ar2는 독립적으로 탄소수 6∼30의 방향족 탄화수소기, 탄소수 3∼18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 그것들이 2∼6개 연결해서 이루어지는 연결 방향족기이다.
R은 독립적으로 시아노기, 탄소수 1∼10의 지방족 탄화수소기, 탄소수 12∼44의 디아릴아미노기, 탄소수 12∼44의 디아릴보릴기, 탄소수 6∼18의 방향족 탄화수소기 또는 탄소수 3∼18의 방향족 복소환기이다.
a는 1∼3의 정수를 나타내고, b는 0∼3의 정수를 나타내고, c와 d는 독립적으로 0∼4의 정수를 나타내고, e는 0∼2의 정수를 나타내고, f는 0∼3의 정수를 나타낸다.
단, L1, L2, Ar1, Ar2 및 R은 일반식(2)으로 나타내어지는 인돌로카르바졸환 함유기인 일은 없다.) - 제 1 항에 있어서,
예비혼합한 호스트 재료 중에 포함되는 2종류 이상의 화합물 중 적어도 1종은 L1과 L2의 한쪽만이 탄소수 3∼18의 함질소 방향족 복소환기인 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
예비혼합한 호스트 재료 중에 포함되는 2종류 이상의 화합물의 증발 온도의 차가 20℃ 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
발광성 도펀트 재료가 루테늄, 로듐, 팔라듐, 은, 레늄, 오스뮴, 이리듐, 백금 및 금에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 금속을 포함하는 유기 금속 착체로 이루어지는 인광 발광 도펀트 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
발광성 도펀트 재료가 형광 발광 도펀트 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
발광성 도펀트 재료가 열활성화 지연 형광 발광 도펀트 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제 1 항에 기재된 유기 전계발광 소자를 제조함에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 발광층을, 상기 일반식(1)으로 나타내어지는 화합물에서 선택되는 2종류 이상의 화합물을 예비혼합한 호스트 재료와 발광성 도펀트 재료를 함유하는 재료를 진공 증착함으로써 제작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계발광 소자의 제조 방법.
