Claims (17)
- - 고형 지지체(2), 및
- 상기 고형 지지체로부터 시작하여 하기 순서로 배열된 적어도 하기 층:
- CeO2를 함유하며 화학 기상 증착에 의해 증착된 제1 다공성 층(6),
- Pt, Pd, Rh 중의 1종 이상의 금속 및/또는 이러한 금속의 1종 이상의 합금을 함유하며, 화학 기상 증착에 의해 증착된 제1 촉매 층(8)
을 포함하는 스택
을 포함하는 촉매 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 층이 불연속성이며, 바람직하게는 수 nm 내지 100 nm의 크기를 갖는 섬(island)을 포함하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 촉매 층 상에 형성된, CeO2를 함유하는 제2 다공성 층(10)을 포함하는 촉매 모듈.
- 제3항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제2 다공성 층(10) 상에 형성된 제2 촉매 층(12)를 포함하는 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 고형 지지체(2) 및 CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 다공성 층(6) 사이에, 1종 이상의 금속 산화물을 함유하는, "워시코트(washcoat)"로 불리우는 완충 층(4)를 포함하는 촉매 모듈.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 완충 층이 Al2O3, CeO2-ZrO2, BaO2, 제올라이트, TiO2 / V2O5와 같은 상이한 특성의 1종 이상의 혼합된 산화물을 포함하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 다공성 층(6)이 완충 층을 형성하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 다공성 층(6) 및/또는 제2 다공성 층(10)이 주로 CeO2를 포함하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 및/또는 제2 다공성 층이 지르코니아(zirconia)를 또한 포함하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제1 및/또는 제2 다공성 층이 산화이트륨 지르코니아(yttriated zirconia)를 또한 포함하는 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 고형 지지체가 거대다공성 지지체, 예를 들어 폼(foam) 또는 허니콤(honeycomb) 구조이며, 상기 고형 지지체가, 예를 들어 세라믹, 예를 들어 멀라이트 또는 코디에라이트, 또는 금속으로 제조된 것인 촉매 모듈.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 촉매 모듈의 제조 방법으로서, 고형 지지체 상에
a) 화학 기상 증착에 의해 형성된, CeO2를 함유하는 제1 다공성 층을 형성하는 단계,
b) 화학 기상 증착에 의해 형성된 제1 촉매 층을 형성하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제10항에 있어서, 단계 a) 및/또는 b)가 MOCVD에 의해 수행되는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 단계 a) 이전에 1종 이상의 금속 산화물을 함유하는 완충 층이, 예를 들어 액상 함침에 의해 형성되는 단계를 포함하는 제조 방법.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CeO2를 함유하는 제2 층이 상기 제1 촉매 층 상에 형성되는 단계 c)를 포함하는 제조 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 제2 촉매 층이 CeO2를 함유하는 상기 제2 층 상에 형성되는 단계 d)를 포함하는 제조 방법.
- 제12항 내지 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 b) 이후에 세리아 및 귀금속 사이의 강한 결합의 발생을 보조하는 열 처리 단계를 포함하는 제조 방법.
