Description
도 1b는 대안적인 구현예에서, 본 발명에 따른 방법의 일 부분의 개략적 예시이다.
도 2는 일 구현예에서, 본 발명에 따른 방법의 제2의 다운스트림 부분의 개략적 예시이다.
도 3은 예를 들어, 용리액으로서 물을 사용하여, 도 1 및 도 2에서 개략적으로 도시된 바와 같은 방법에서 아크릴산 생성물로부터 과량의 프로피온산의 크로마토그래피 분리를 수행하는데 사용하기 위한 양쪽성 수지로의 펄스 시험(pulse testing)의 결과를 도시한 것이다.
도 4는 수중 5% 아세톤의 혼합된 용리액을 사용하는 것을 제외하고, 동일한 수지 시스템의 펄스 시험 결과를 도시한 것이다.
도 5는 아세톤 대신에 메탄올 보조-용매를 사용한 펄스 시험 결과를 도시한 것이다.
도 6은 보다 높은 백분율의 메탄올 보조-용매를 사용한 펄스 시험 결과를 도시한 것이다.

Claims (11)
- a. 락트산을 함유한 발효 브로쓰(broth)를 생성하기 위해 생물학적 촉매의 존재 하에 덱스트로오스를 발효시키고;
b. 정화된 발효 브로쓰를 생성하기 위해 발효 브로쓰로부터 고형물을 제거하고;
c. 유기 용매로의 추출에 의해 정화된 발효 브로쓰로부터 락트산을 제거하고;
d. 락트산을 발효 브로쓰로부터 제거한 후에, 발효 브로쓰 잔부로부터 락트산-첨가된 유기 용매를 분리시키고;
e. 발효 브로쓰 잔부의 적어도 일부를 발효 단계로 재순환시키고;
f. 락트산암모늄을 포함하는 미정제 탈수 공급물을 제공하기 위하여 락트산-첨가된 용매 중의 락트산을 암모니아와 반응시키고;
g. 탈수 공급물을 제공하기 위하여 미정제 탈수 공급물 중에서 유기 용매로부터 락트산암모늄을 분리시키고;
h. 미정제 아크릴산 생성물을 생성하기 위하여 탈수 공급물 중 락트산암모늄의 증기상 탈수를 수행하고;
i. 아세트알데하이드 및 암모니아 오버헤드(overhead)를 제거하고 주로 아크릴산 및 프로피온산으로 이루어진 하부 스트림을 제공하기 위한 제1 증류, 및
아크릴산이 풍부한 제2 증류 오버헤드 스트림 및 프로피온산이 풍부한 제2 증류 하부 스트림을 제공하기 위한, 제1 증류로부터의 하부 스트림의 제2 증류
를 포함하는 공정에 의해, 정제된 아크릴산 생성물을 제공하기 위해 미정제 아크릴산 생성물을 정제하고;
j. 용융 결정화, 크로마토그래피, 또는 용융 결정화와 크로마토그래피 둘 모두에 의해 제2 증류 오버헤드 스트림에서 아크릴산을 추가로 정제하는 것
을 포함하는, 덱스트로오스로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 정제된 아크릴산 생성물이 3000 중량ppm 미만의 프로피온산을 함유하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 정제된 아크릴산 생성물이 1000 중량ppm 미만의 프로피온산을 함유하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정화된 발효 브로쓰로부터의 락트산의 분리가 하나 이상의 친수성 나노여과 막의 사용을 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 덱스트로오스의 발효가 스키조사카로마이세스 폼베(Schizosaccharomyces pombe)의 산-저항성(acid-resistant) 형질전환체, 스키조사카로마이세스 폼베의 재조합 균주, 또는 외인성 락테이트 탈수소효소 유전자를 포함하는 게놈을 포함한 내산성(acid-tolerant) 효모 균주의 사용을 포함하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 추가 정제 단계에서, 과량의 프로피온산을 함유한 아크릴산이 프로피온산을 라피네이트로 용리시키기 위해 양쪽성 이온 교환 수지와 접촉되는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 접촉이 일련의 컬럼에서 달성되며, 용리액이 시뮬레이션된 이동층으로서의 컬럼을 통해 진행되는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 양쪽성 이온 교환 수지가 가교된 폴리스티렌 프레임 상에 도입된 4차 암모늄 기 및 카복시 기를 갖는 방법.
