Abstract
Description
도 2a는 폴리에틸렌 입자가 본 발명의 일 양태에 따라 선분산되어 있는 전극을 개략적으로 도시한 것이고, 도 2b는 이러한 전극의 SEM 사진이다.
도 3a는 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 전극의 이상발열전 양태를 개략적으로 나타낸 것이고, 도 3b는 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 전극의 이상발열후 양태를 개략적으로 나타낸 것이다.
도 4는 본 발명에서 사용가능한 폴리에틸렌 입자 (전극합제 투입전)의 입경 분포 및 실시예 전극에서 상기 폴리에틸렌 입자의 입경 분포를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 5a와 도 5b는 비교예 및 실시예 각각에서 수득된 전극 단면적 사진으로, 이들 단면적의 가로 및 높이가 각각 3등분되어 9개 영역으로 구분되어 있다.

Claims (8)
- 전극 활물질, 도전재, 바인더 고분자 및 폴리에틸렌 입자를 포함하고,
상기 폴리에틸렌 입자는 전극 내에서 선분산되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 폴리에틸렌 입자는 저밀도 폴리에틸렌(LDPE), 고밀도 폴리에틸렌(HDPE) 또는 이들이 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 폴리에틸렌 입자는 1 내지 100 ㎛의 평균 입경을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 폴리에틸렌 입자는 활물질 100 중량부에 대하여 0.1 내지 10 중량부의 함량으로 전극합제에 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 폴리에틸렌 입자의 분포는 전극 위치에 따라 4 미만의 표준편차를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- (s1) 전극 활물질, 도전재, 바인더 고분자 및 폴리에틸렌 입자를 용매에 첨가하여 형성된 전극합제 슬러리를 혼합하는 단계; 및 (s2) 상기 폴리에틸렌 입자가 선분산되도록 상기 전극합제 슬러리를 밀링하는 단계; 를 포함하고,
상기 (s2)에서의 밀링은 스파이크 밀(spike mill), 비즈 밀(beads mill), 전단 혼합(shear mix) 또는 이들을 조합하는 사용에 의해 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 (s2)에서의 밀링이 500 내지 3000 rpm으로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 따른 전극을 포함하는 이차전지용 전극.
