Description
Claims (13)
- 염소화된 비닐 클로라이드(CPVC) 화합물로부터 제조된 파이프 섹션(pipe section) 접합용 피팅(fitting)으로서, CPVC 화합물이 (A) 하나 이상의 고분자량 염소화된 비닐 클로라이드 폴리머 수지(CPVC resin)를 포함하고, 상기 고분자량 CPVC 수지가 약 0.79 이상의 고유 점도(inherent viscosity)를 지니는 비닐 클로라이드 수지를 염소화시킴으로써 제조되는 피팅.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 CPVC 화합물이 (B) 하나 이상의 표준 분자량 CPVC 수지를 추가로 포함하고, 상기 표준 분자량 CPVC가 0.68 미만의 고유 점도를 지니는 비닐 클로라이드 수지를 염소화시킴으로써 제조되는 피팅.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 고분자량 CPVC 수지 대 저분자량 CPVC 수지의 비가 1:1 이상인 피팅.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 고분자량 CPVC 수지가 67 wt.% 미만의 염소 함량을 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 저분자량 CPVC 수지가 67 wt.% 미만의 염소 함량을 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 CPVC 화합물이 (C) 다른 첨가제를 추가로 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 다른 첨가제가 (1) 안정화제, (2) 충격 개질제, 3) 윤활제, (4) 충전제, (5) 착색제, 및 (6) 이들의 조합물 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 7항에 있어서, CPVC 화합물이 (i) 금속 함유 안정화제, (ii) 유기 기반 안정화제, (iii) 제올라이트, (iv) C6 내지 C12 금속 카복실레이트, 또는 (v) 이들의 조합물 중 하나 이상을 포함하는, 약 0.1 내지 약 7.0 phr의 안정화제를 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 7항 또는 제 8항에 있어서, CPVC 화합물이 (i) 아크릴계 충격 개질제, (ii) 메틸 부타디엔 스티렌 (methyl butadiene styrene: MBS) 충격 개질제, (iii) 아크릴로니트릴 부타디엔 스티렌 (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene: ABS) 충격 개질제, (iv) 염소화된 폴리에틸렌 (chlorinated polyethylene: CPE), 또는 (v) 이들의 조합물 중 하나 이상을 포함하는, 약 4 내지 약 8 phr의 충격 개질제를 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 7항, 제 8항, 또는 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CPVC 화합물이 (i) 폴리올레핀, (ii) 산화된 폴리올레핀, (iii) 파라핀 왁스, 또는 (iv) 이들의 조합물 중 하나 이상을 포함하는, 3.5 phr 이하의 윤활제를 포함하는 피팅.
- 제 6항 내지 제 14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, CPVC 화합물이 폴리비닐 클로라이드 (polyvinyl chloride: PVC) 수지를 배제하는 피팅.
- (A) 하나 이상의 고분자량 염소화된 비닐 클로라이드 폴리머 수지(CPVC 수지)를 포함하는 CPVC 화합물의 용도로서, 상기 고분자량 CPVC 수지가 파이프 접합용 피팅의 환경적 응력 균열에 대한 저항성을 개선시키기 위해서 약 0.79 이상의 고유 점도를 지니는 비닐 클로라이드 수지를 염소화시킴으로써 제조되는 용도.
- 표준 분자량 CPVC 수지를 지니는 CPVC 화합물로부터 제조된 파이프 접합용 피팅에 비해서 환경적 응력 균열에 대해 개선된 저항성을 지니는 개선된 파이프 접합용 피팅을 제공하는 방법으로서, 67 wt.% 미만의 염소 함량을 지니는 고분자량 CPVC 수지를 포함하는 CPVC 화합물로부터 개선된 피팅을 몰딩(molding)시킴을 포함하는 방법.
