Abstract
Description
도 2는 세라믹 허니컴 필터의 일례를 모식적으로 나타내는 축 방향에 평행한 단면도이다.
도 3은 수은 압입법에 의해 측정한 실시예 1의 세라믹 허니컴 구조체 격벽의 세공 직경과 누적 세공 용적의 관계를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 4는 수은 압입법에 의해 측정한 세공 직경에 대한 누적 세공 용적의 관계로부터, d20을 구하는 방법을 설명하기 위한 그래프이다.
Claims (5)
- 다공질(多孔質)의 격벽으로 구획된 다수의 유로(流路)를 가지는 세라믹 허니컴(honeycomb) 구조체로서,
상기 격벽은,
(a) 기공율(氣孔率)이 50∼63 %,
(b) 수은 압입법에 의해 측정된 세공(細孔) 분포에 있어서,
(i) 누적 세공 용적이 전체 세공 용적의 2%가 되는 세공 직경(d2)이 180㎛ 초과 250㎛ 이하,
5%가 되는 세공 직경(d5)이 55∼150 ㎛,
10%가 되는 세공 직경(d10)이 17∼40 ㎛,
50%가 되는 세공 직경(메디안(median) 세공 직경)(d50)이 10∼20 ㎛,
85%가 되는 세공 직경(d85)이 5.5∼10 ㎛,
90%가 되는 세공 직경(d90)이 3.5∼9 ㎛,
98%가 되는 세공 직경(d98)이 2.5㎛ 이하,
(d10-d90)/d50이 1.3∼2,
(d50-d90)/d50이 0.45∼0.75 및
(d10-d50)/d50이 0.75∼1.4이며,
(ii) 누적 세공 용적이 전체 세공 용적의 20%가 되는 세공 직경(d20)의 로그와 80%가 되는 세공 직경(d80)의 로그의 차인 σ=log(d20)-log(d80)이 0.39 이하이며,
(iii) 100㎛를 초과한 세공 용적이 0.03 cm3/g 이하인, 세라믹 허니컴 구조체. - 제1항에 있어서,
20㎛ 이상의 세공 용적이 0.12 cm3/g 이하인, 세라믹 허니컴 구조체. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 기공율이 52∼60 %인, 세라믹 허니컴 구조체. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 메디안 세공 직경(d50)이 10∼18 ㎛인, 세라믹 허니컴 구조체. - 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 σ가 0.3 이하인, 세라믹 허니컴 구조체.
