Claims (19)
- 용체화 처리된 미세조직을 갖는 백주철 합금의 캐스팅으로서,
(a) 아래의 조성을 갖는, 잔류 오스테나이트를 포함하는 철계 매트릭스:
망간: 8 - 20 중량%
탄소: 0.8 - 1.5 중량%;
크롬: 5 - 15 중량%; 및
철: 나머지(부수적인 불순물 포함); 그리고
(b) 매트릭스에 분산된 크롬 탄화물들로서, 상기 합금의 5 내지 60% 체적분율을 포함하는 크롬 탄화물들을 포함하는, 백주철 합금의 캐스팅. - 제1항에 있어서, 백주철 합금의 벌크 화학조성에 있어 크롬 농도 및/또는 탄소 농도는 크롬과 탄소 중의 하나 또는 양자의 매트릭스 농도가 제1항에 정의된 매트릭스의 범위 내에 존재하도록 조절하기 위하여 상기 매트릭스에 있어서의 크롬 농도와 탄소 농도 간의 역관계를 감안하여 선택됨으로써, 상기 캐스팅이 필요 특성들을 갖도록 한 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄소의 매트릭스 농도는 0.8 중량%보다 크고 1.5 중량% 미만인 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄소의 매트릭스 농도는 1 중량% 보다 큰 것인 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄화물은 캐스팅의 15 내지 60% 체적분율을 포함하는 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미세조직은 잔류 오스테나이트 매트릭스에 분산된 15 내지 30 체적%의 탄화물을 포함하는 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄화물들은 크롬-철-망간 탄화물을 포함하는 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 용체화 처리 후, 철계 매트릭스는 일차(primary) 오스테나이트 덴드라이트 및/또는 공정(eutectic) 오스테나이트를 포함하고 그리고 탄화물 상은 일차 크롬-철-망간 탄화물 및/또는 공정 크롬-철-망간 탄화물을 포함하는 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 니오븀 탄화물 및/또는 니오븀 탄화물과 티타늄 탄화물의 화학적 혼합물을 더 포함하는 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 매트릭스는 실질적으로 페라이트가 없는 것인 캐스팅.
- 제1항에 있어서, 아래와 같은 벌크 화학조성을 포함하는 캐스팅:
크롬: 10 - 40 중량%;
탄소: 2 - 6 중량%;
망간: 8 - 20 중량%;
실리콘: 0 - 1.5 중량%; 및
나머지의 철 및 부수적 불순물들. - 제1항에 있어서, 하기와 같은 벌크 화학조성을 포함하는 캐스팅:
크롬: 7 - 36 중량%;
탄소: 3 - 8.5 중량%;
망간: 5 - 18 중량%;
실리콘: 0 - 1.5 중량%;
티타늄: 2 - 13 중량%; 및
나머지의 철 및 부수적 불순물들. - 제1항에 있어서, 하기와 같은 벌크 화학조성을 포함하는 캐스팅:
크롬: 7 - 36 중량%;
탄소: 3 - 8.5 중량%;
망간: 5 - 18 중량%;
실리콘: 0 - 1.5 중량%;
니오븀: 8 - 33 중량%; 및
나머지의 철 및 부수적 불순물들. - 제1항에 있어서, 하기와 같은 벌크 화학조성을 포함하는 캐스팅:
크롬: 7 - 36 중량%;
탄소: 3 - 8.5 중량%;
망간: 5 - 18 중량%;
실리콘: 0 - 1.5 중량%;
니오븀 및 티타늄: 5 - 25 중량%; 및
나머지의 철 및 부수적 불순물들. - 제1항에 따른 캐스팅을 포함하는, 가혹한 연마 및 침식 마모에 사용되는 장치.
- 제1항에 따른 캐스팅을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 방법은,
(a) 하기와 같은 벌크 화학조성을 포함하는 백주철 합금의 용융물을 형성하는 단계;
크롬: 7 - 36 중량%;
탄소: 3 - 8.5 중량%;
망간: 5 - 18 중량%;
실리콘: 0 - 1.5 중량%;
티타늄: 2 - 13 중량%; 및
나머지의 철 및 부수적 불순물들.
(b) 상기 용융물을 몰드에 부어 상기 캐스팅을 형성하는 단계; 및
(c) 상기 캐스팅을 실질적으로 실온으로 냉각시키는 단계;
를 포함하는 캐스팅 제조방법. - 제16항에 있어서, 상기 공정 (c) 단계 이후,
(d) 용체화 처리 온도로 캐스팅을 가열하고; 및
(e) 상기 캐스팅을 담금질(quenching)함으로써,
캐스팅을 열처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 캐스팅 제조방법. - 제2항에 있어서, 상기 필요 특성은 인성, 경도, 내마모성, 가공 경화능력, 내부식성 및 이들의 조합으로부터 선택되는 것인 캐스팅.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 슬러리 펌프와 파이프라인들, 분쇄기 라이너(mill liner), 파쇄기(crusher), 트랜스퍼 슈트(transfer chute) 및 지면 결합공구(ground engaging tool)로부터 선택되는 것인 장치.
