Abstract
밀봉장치(1)는, 허브 베어링(50)의 외륜(51)에 부착되는 밀봉장치 본체(10)와 허브(52)에 부착되는 슬링거(20)를 구비하고, 밀봉장치 본체(10)는, 보강 링(12)과 탄성체부(11)를 구비한다. 탄성체부(11)는, 슬링거(20)의 외주측 단부(20c)보다 외주측에 위치하고 허브(52)와의 사이에 간극(31)을 형성하는 외주측 래비린스 립(15)과, 내주측 래비린스 립(16)과, 사이드 립(17)을 구비한다. 외주측 래비린스 립(15)은, 그 선단부가 슬링거(20)의 외주측 단부(20c)보다 축선(x) 방향에 있어서 외측에 위치함과 함께, 외주측 래비린스 립(15)의 외주측에 있어서 내주측으로 함몰된 축선(x)을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 홈부(32)를 형성하고 있다.

Claims (4)
- 베어링에 있어서 축선에 대해 서로 상대 회동 가능한 환 형상의 외주측 부재와 이 외주측 부재에 적어도 부분적으로 포위된 환 형상의 내주측 부재와의 사이를 밀봉하는 밀봉장치로서,
상기 외주측 부재에 부착되는 밀봉장치 본체와,
상기 밀봉장치 본체의 외측에 위치하고 상기 내주측 부재에 부착되는 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 슬링거를 구비하고,
상기 밀봉장치 본체는, 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 보강 링과, 이 보강 링에 부착되어 있는, 탄성체로 형성되어 있는 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 탄성체부를 구비하고,
상기 탄성체부는, 상기 슬링거의 외주측의 단부인 외주측 단부보다 상기 외주측을 통해 연장되어 상기 내주측 부재와의 사이에 간극을 형성하는 외주측 래비린스 립과, 상기 외주측 래비린스 립보다 내주측에 위치하고 상기 슬링거와의 사이에 간극을 형성하는 내주측 래비린스 립과, 상기 래비린스 립보다 상기 내주측에 위치하고 상기 슬링거에 맞닿는 사이드 립을 구비하고,
상기 외주측 래비린스 립은, 이 외주측 래비린스 립의 선단부가 상기 슬링거의 상기 외주측 단부보다 상기 축선방향에 있어서 상기 외측에 위치함과 함께, 상기 외주측 래비린스 립의 상기 외주측에 있어서 상기 내주측으로 함몰된 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 홈부를 형성하고 있는
것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉장치. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 탄성체부는, 상기 외주측 부재의 외주면으로부터 상기 외주측으로 돌출하는 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 제방부를 구비하고, 이 제방부는 상기 외주측 래비린스 립과의 사이에 상기 홈부를 형성하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉장치. - 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서,
상기 탄성체부는, 상기 외주측 래비린스 립과 상기 내주측 래비린스 립과의 사이에 있어서 상기 슬링거에 간극을 가지고 대향하여 래비린스 씰을 형성하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉장치. - 청구항 1 내지 3 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 슬링거는, 상기 외주측 단부의 적어도 선단측 부분에 있어서 상기 축선방향에 있어서 상기 내주측 부재로부터 이격되어 있고, 상기 내주측으로 함몰된 상기 축선을 중심으로 하는 환 형상의 홈 간극부를 형성하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉장치.
