Claims (17)
- 발포 물품(foamed article)을 제조하는 방법으로서,
a) 용융된 열가소성 엘라스토머를 사출 성형하여 전구체를 형성하는 단계;
b) 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머를 가교시키는 단계;
c) 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머를 제1 온도로 가열하여 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머를 연화시키는 단계;
d) 상기 적어도 하나의 불활성 가스를 상기 연화된 열가소성 엘라스토머에 침투시키기에 충분한 제1 압력에서 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머에 적어도 하나의 불활성 가스를 주입하는 단계; 및
e) 상기 물품이 연화되는 동안, 상기 압력을 상기 제1 압력 미만의 제2 압력까지 감소시켜 상기 전구체를 발포 물품으로 적어도 부분적으로 발포시키는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 발포 물품은 상기 전구체와 실질적으로 동일한 형상인, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
f) 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머를 제2 온도까지 냉각시키는 단계; 및
g) 상기 압력을 대기압까지 감소시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법. - 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2 온도가 주변 온도인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주입된 열가소성 엘라스토머가, 상기 열가소성 엘라스토머가 상기 엘라스토머를 연화시키는 온도로 다시 가열되고 상기 제1 압력 미만의 대기압에 노출될 때 후속 단계에서 적어도 부분 형성(forming)을 생성시키기에 충분한 양의 상기 흡수된 불활성 가스를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 엘라스토머가 전자빔 방사선을 이용하여 가교되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전구체의 부피가 상기 발포 물품의 20 부피% 내지 80 부피%인 방법.

- 발포 물품을 제조하는 방법으로서,
a) 열가소성 엘라스토머를 사출 성형하여 전구체를 형성하는 단계;
b) 전자빔 방사선을 이용하여 상기 열가소성 폴리머를 가교시키는 단계;

- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 전구체 및 상기 인서트에 침투시키기 위한 제1 압력에서 상기 적어도 하나의 불활성 가스를 도입하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 압력을 상기 제1 압력 미만의 제2 압력까지 감소시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 부분 모울드의 표면이 모든 방향을 제외한 적어도 한 방향으로 발포 팽창을 제한하는 방법.
